Really nice to get the experience sleeping in a traditional Hanok. The owner was really kind and explain everything calm and well. We really had a time over here!

Very cozy, renovated bathroom, super helpful and nice owner. The atmosphere in the area & garden was great. You felt like you were in a fairy tale. Sleeping on the ground was a very pleasent experience as well.

The hosts gave a lot of information about the property and how to use the facilities. We also got a free unexpected breakfast which was very nice!

Beautiful traditional hanok with comfortable rooms. The location was also very convenient, as it is right in the Hanok village itself. The hosts were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would love to come back and stay here again next time.

“Authentic”

Wonderful hanok house. The owner is such a sweetheart, always making sure that everything is going well with your stay and very fast to react. It is just important that one have the correct expectations about the setup in a classic hanok house. The space is limited inside so less luggage will help with that. Very clean, and I still can’t get over the baby powder scented bodywash and shampoo they provide.

The host was very hospitable and even helped us book a taxi to the bus station. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of having breakfast delivered to our door in the morning. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable — the Jeonju Hanok Village experience was truly wonderful!

Our first hanok stay was exceptional. The room is traditional, well maintained, and the location is perfect for a visit to Jeonju Hanok Village. Mr. Li the host comes from a local Jeonju family of generations - he is kind, friendly, and provided us with many local recommendations. I highly recommend Hanok Hyejum!

“Beautiful traditional room to experience Jeonju”

We are deeply grateful to our hosts who welcomed us warmly and kindly, providing us with a traditional space to experience the Hanok houses in Jeonju. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, with a refrigerator and a full bathroom, making our stay a pleasant and magical time, one in which we could almost be transported back in time. In addition, we enjoyed the recommendations our host, Mr. Lee, gave us to enjoy authentic traditional food, desserts, and iconic places in the city. Mr. Lee was always attentive to our needs and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Upon our arrival, he greeted us to help us with our luggage, and at the end of our stay, he accompanied us to the taxi to help us carry our luggage. It was a highly recommended experience that we will never forget and will always carry this beautiful experience in our hearts. Thank you to our hosts, may God bless you abundantly always.

“Excellent hanok experience in a city that engages to go slow”

Beautifully maintained hanok with friendly and welcoming English-speaking host Mr Lee (and his wife). Great location to explore the hanok village that offers much to do, steep in history and with excellent eats as well. Personally I enjoy sleeping on the futons, and the personal touch of mini breakfast was much appreciated. The room is on the cosy side. Mr Lee also helped calling a taxi for us to go to the bus terminal on the last day of our stay. For recharging, Jeonju is the right place to be.

“Charming and Authentic Hanok Stay”

Staying here was a truly memorable experience. The hanok itself is beautifully maintained and offers a very authentic atmosphere. The courtyard also adds to the charm. Our host was kind and welcoming. They even prepared a small breakfast for us in the morning. Very central location as well, just a short walk from the main area.
