The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, with a practical and well-designed bathroom. The entire place was incredibly quiet and relaxing. The staff was always available and helpful, and the lady managing the property was truly kind and welcoming throughout the whole stay. Breakfast was simple but unforgettable and I still think about it. The location was perfect: the moment you step outside, you are already immersed in traditional Korean culture. At the same time, it is just a few steps from a main street, making it very easy to get around using public transport. On the early morning of my departure, it was raining heavily. I stepped outside the room and sat under the covered area, just watching and listening to the rain. The smell of the rain combined with the traditional architecture created a moment I will never forget. I am truly grateful for having been hosted there.

“Real hanok house stay”
Gohyundang is in the middle of Jeonju hanok village. So even at night you are close to everything. Also the place feels like a real home and it has a healthy breakfast.

Is close in everything and the place was comfortable. The breakfast was good value. The lady was very helpful, especially when were need taxi for our early travel to Seoul.

“Authentic experience staying in a hanok!”
The accommodation is near to the hanok village, making it very near to most of the attractions. Although the owner can only speak Korean, but we can communicate well via Google trans.ation. She is extremely helpful in providing information.

The house has amazing charm and character. The interior looks exactly like the photos and it is very spacious. The breakfast was delicious too. The lady running rhe guesthouse is lovely. The pre arrival communication wad amazing and she made is felt very welcome. Gave us suggestions about Jeonju, and help us get a taxi on the way out. Location is right in the hanok village. Everything was very good

Charming place with perfect location, if you want to visit Hanok village. The owner was lovely: checkef us in earlier and made good breakfast (toasts filled worh cabbage etc., fruits, tea/coffee and juice) that one could either eat in the yard or in their room. It was clean and the ondol floor is warm. The price was very good for what we got.

The location was really nice to come by public transportation from the bus station. Also is very close to the center and to restaurants/shops. The room was spacious enough to have our bags and the futon with a very small but private bathroom. Despite the host didn’t speak english communication was made through the translate and with no problems. Breakfast was simple but really nice, homemade.

Very nice host, great location, perfect to explore the old town part/ Hanok Village of Jeonju. Nice room, clean, own bathroom. Futon as comfortable as a futon can be (definitely in for 2 nights) Water bottle for guests free if charge Very nice korean breakfast
