I consider the ratings on this platform on a scale of 0 to 10 to be exaggerated. A 6(10) must mean, for example, that the rating is above average. An 8(10) is therefore a rating that only exclusive accommodations can achieve. So who can achieve a 9 or 10(10)? The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was above average for Korea.

It’s very close to the old town about a 1km walk. But a nice walk. The place is nice but not really big enough for a family and luggage. Just too tight.

Very good location, walkable to the key tourist sites. Friendly and helpful owner (e.g. supplied maps). Sizeable common food storage, prep, consumption space. Nice garden with ample seating. While room is small, it has separate bath/shower, AC and wi-fi.

Close to the hanok village, was a nice experience to stay in a hanok house. The host was nice and helped us book a taxi.

Super nice owner, great breakfast and a wonderful experience sleeping on the futons. We slept very well and would stay here again

The host, Mr Ki, is very friendly and helpful. Accommodation is basic as expected of hanok stay, but met our needs comfortably. The room is clean and well maintained.

The guesthouse is located in Jeonju Art Village, which in my opinion is a more charming place than the main Hanok Village. The owner was kind enough to let me choose a room from those available - thank you! As a single occupant, I had plenty of space in the room for myself and my luggage. You sleep on a futon, so it's a different experience to a regular bed, but comfortable nonetheless. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but well equipped and with strong, hot water. Breakfast features fresh fruit, baked potatoes, eggs and toast with jam - it's really nice to eat it in the garden area. Drinking water and a fridge are available in the communal kitchen area. There's a bus stop close to the guesthouse, but you can easily walk to sights and restaurants in 10-20 minutes. Recommended!

“A lovely memorable stay”

Traditional feel and the host was extremely helpful. A very peaceful and cosy place. Breakfast is at 9am everyday and the host kindly lets you know with a knock on your door. Walking distance to everything you’ll need. We really enjoyed our stay!
