“Sensational views - incredibly helpful host - perfect in every way for me”
I loved everything! I caught the ferry from Split to Jelsa and unbeknown to me there was a stop on the way - I got off at the wrong stop (Bol) - apparently I'm not the fist to do it - I don't expect I'll be the last. Fortunately Andrea was meeting me at the Port and when she figured out where I was, guided me on getting a ticket on the last ferry available to Jelsa that day. She was amazing - so friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was perfect for me - sensational views, quiet, spacious and a great balcony to watch the sunset over the town and surrounds. If you're not physically able to walk up flights of stairs - it may not be for you. There is a path down to the town which is relatively steep to climb back up.

The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is walking distance from the town centre. We walked to the beach every day. The room was compact. Even when we asked, we did not get the complimentary items as suggested on the booking description. The hotel is clean. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

We had the most wonderful stay at Big Blue in Jelsa! The apartment exceeded all our expectations—it was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The location is perfect, offering easy access to all the beauty Jelsa has to offer. What truly made our stay unforgettable were the incredible hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and cared for, treating us with such kindness and hospitality that it felt like a home away from home. If you’re planning a visit to Hvar, we cannot recommend Big Blue enough. It’s a gem in every sense!

Loved the apartments, truly beautiful view from the terrace. The duo that run these could not be more friendly :) Rented both apartments and was so handy for our small group Very close to the town, 5 minute walk. Multiple beaches in walking distance.
