The venue was really special and in a beautiful location. Everything was so well thought out from the equipment in the kitchen to the decor. The outside area was simply lovely, a pleasure to spend time in their garden and by the braai. The hot tub was an excellent feature and we enjoyed that thoroughly. We actually cannot praise the host or the venue highly enough. Our host went above and beyond and was so kind, thoughtful, professional and efficient. A wonderful experience! thank you.

It was a beautiful bush getaway with everything we needed. Loved the fire pit and the wood fired hot tub!

During our 14 days road trip through the Western and Eastern Capes the Surfer's Cabin was the best place we stayed at. Very unique, love for every tiniest detail in design, decoration and cleanliness. Never seen any place that cute, calm and functional at the same time. A true treasure.

The cleanliness and how everything was well organised with an information booklet that was also shared on WhatsApp. The host was very responsive. The thoughtfulness of putting together pain pills,medlemon,cotton pads,earbuds and elastoplast in case of emergencies melted our hearts. The instructions about drinking water. “Hidden tranquil luxury in Jbay”

After an extensive search for a peaceful "bush" getaway near Jeffreys Bay, I was lucky enough to discover this charming little cabin—and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! The online photos simply don’t capture the true beauty of this place. Every inch of the cabin has been thoughtfully designed, with attention to detail in every corner. Our stay was filled with fun and relaxation. We played board games on the deck while listening to the rain, unwinding in the hot tub, and waking up to the soothing sound of birdsong in the morning. One of the highlights of the experience, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond, something you don’t always find at the more "luxury" lodges in the area. Instead of taking the 250 km drive from PE to Plettenberg Bay, we’ll now be staying closer to home, supporting local, and enjoying this tranquil haven that offers both luxury and serenity right at our doorstep. This hidden gem is highly recommended for anyone looking to escape into nature without sacrificing comfort. Thank you for a truly memorable stay—we will definitely be returning!

“Relaxing stay with hot tub and neat as a pin!”

Avan is an excellent host, and has really put serious thought into every detail. Beds and linen are very comfortable, and great quality towels, Nespresso coffee machine, with complimentary pods, rusks, milk etc. the hot tub works beautifully and the fire pit is a treat. The location surrounded by bush is peaceful and private, as well as secure. Every part of the cabin and outside area has been thoughtfully created to be comfortable, practical and aesthetically pleasing. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends as well!

The cabin was in reality just as it is portrayed in the pictures - absolutely beautiful! The layout is so well thought out and provides absolutely everything you need for a very comfortable stay! We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay!

“A weekend of making lasting memories!”

An absolute work of innovative structural art! The space was cozy, without feeling cramped. The space is decorated tastefully and modern whilst remaining minimalistic and practical. The staff were amazing, we were shown around the space and our firewood for the fire warmed hot tub never ran out. The space was immaculately clean, all linens provided was oh so soft and luxurious and definitely had us, the guests needs in mind. The host offers a few extra comforts, like complimentary freshly ground coffee as well as coffee pods, sugar, milk and drinking water - as well as delicious biscuits and rusks. There is also the fantastic and realistic idea of an honesty bar that offered a few extras like chocolates, wines, additional milk and more which was easy enough to access and payment was done in true honest form - fill in what you used and leave the cash in a jar. The area was secure, safe and very peaceful. We awoke to the chorus of bird song and the sing song of the wind gently swaying the pine tree forest. I would highly recommend the Surfers Bush Cabin to couples looking for a romantic weekend getaway, or even for close friends just to hang out and chill. The location was fantastic, although be warned, there is a short stretch of gravel road to be driven - but this too was immaculately preserved and easy enough to manoeuvre.

The Cabin pics was exactly like it was advertised if not more. It was so peaceful, with just the birds chirping in the background. Had our privacy. Everything so carefully thought out and to detail, the cabin didn't lack anything, the highlight of our holiday was the amazing hot tub even though the weather was bad with the wind we didn't mind. Had loads of fun with the games provided. Will definitely recommend The Surfers Bush Cabin to others a must, we'll certainly be back. It was an amazing stay. Thank you to our host Avan gave us a warm and friendly welcome, and checked on us throughout our stay even offered cleaning services as well.
