Overview
Situated on a sand dune overlooking the Indian Ocean, Island Vibe Jeffreys Bay features a bar and restaurant as well as a communal, self-catering kitchen. There are also BBQ facilities available. The basic rooms at this backpackers include access to a shared bathroom with shower. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. From the backpackers, guests have direct access to the beach and can enjoy a stroll along the beach. They are also free to use the communal kitchen and the BBQ facilities, or they can order light meals at the restaurant. Island Vibe hostel is located just 1 km from downtown Jeffrey’s Bay. It is also 5 km from Aston Bay and 6 km from Paradise Beach. Port Elizabeth Airport is 80 km away. It's not allowed to bring alcohol to the property, on the premises there's a bar where guests can buy alcoholic beverages. No parties nor loud noices allowed on the property!

Excellent location directly on the beach and with awesome views. Spacious communal areas. Very clean throughout. Reserved a Beach House room with private bathroom, which was great value for money. Secure parking onsite. Solid WiFi.

The vibe of the Hostel was great. From the private rooms you are able to view the ocean anf beach with nothing in front of you! The location is really good. Right next to the beach and a 5 minutes walk to shops and cafés. The room is clean. The interior is simple. The private rooms share a big balcony or terrasse, which has sitting options in front of every room. Thats lovely and its easy to meet people. The shared kitchen has a nice vibe since its kind of outdoor and there is sand as floor. We liked that. Other than the shared kitchen you're able to order food at the bar. The hostel offers laundry service (can recommend), surf lessons, beer pong matches etc.

Wooow first row on the beach. Amazing view on the ocean and sunrise. That makes me so happy. For a hostel the best rooms and view I've ever had. Beautiful balcony. Polite stuff and cozy vibes all through the hostel. Food in the restaurant is good.

We loved the proximity and access to the beach, hearing the soothing sound of the waves, and the views... It is a hidden gem. Exploring the rest of the property, we would definitely opt to stay in the private en suite rooms.
