The location of this hotel is stunning, the mountain range views being the best. All the rooms are spacious with outstanding views, comfortable beds and amenities. All recently refurbished, the hotel having only re-opened in September 2025. There is a lovely pool area and the grounds are safe to walk in with a wildlife collection of herbivores - of course they all disappear when you walk near them !! Amazing to awake with the wildlife surrounding the hotel in the mornings. The food and staff are also exceptional. I did not want to leave. By far the best place we stayed in our 14 days in South Africa.

Beautiful hotel in stunning surroundings with spectacular views , free roaming animals with giraffes and zebras coming close to the accomodation. The room we stayed in was spacious , ver comfortable and spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel and the views from our balcony both of the mountains and the sea were amazing. The staff were very friendly and delivered exceptional service. Was so peaceful and relaxing. The food was divine and beautifully presented. Highly recommend for a luxurious stay.

Wow wow wow - what a fantastic surprise- not really sure where to start - absolute gem in the middle of nowhere - total luxury at really good rates - wonderful staff - ultra comfortable- great food - and just when you thought it couldn’t get any better some giraffes wander up for a stop at the drinking hole - unbelievable.

“Dreaming hotel”

Dreaming location set in a natural reserve, surrounded by giraffes, zebras, and other animals. The views are amazing and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. You can really see the attention to detail in the decoration throughout the property. The food was delicious, and the staff made us feel truly at home, taking great care of us during our stay. Highly recommended! I would definitely come back the next time I’m in the area.

The location of this hotel is everything. The highlight was seeing a family of giraffes from our balcony and as we dined for tea. The pool is lovely and the food was fab during our visit. Staff were lovely.

Ohhh they will feed you okay??? Breakfast time we had little confectioneries being brought to us, bread before dinner was brought to us. Everything was a delight. I loved our bedroom view, being able to see the animals up close from our room was such a delightful experience. We also had a bedroom turndown and little confectioneries left in our bedroom. Everything was exceptionally great with this stay.
