“Fantastic 1 Night Stay While In Transit To The Airport....”
The hotel was in Hira Street, hence it was very easy to find. It was a modern hotel and the interior looks new. The staff could speak and understand English and they had records of our online booking, no problem at all. Our room was a 1 bedroom apartment, which I would describe as huge. The bedroom came with a king bed and in the living room, there's an L shape sofa, super comfy. I think 2 pax could sleep there. There's also a TV with a subscribed multi-channel eg news, drama and documentary. The bathroom came a rubber slipper, hence it was very convenient if the floor is too cold but it can be a bit slippery. There's a kitchen cabinet with fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and electric stove. Cooking utensils were provided including plates and spoons. Tea bags, coffee and white sugars were also provided. Also provided was a washing sink and sponge with cleaning detergent. Immediately besides the hotel is a restaurant selling pizza and pies, nice. Further up and down, there are many other eateries. If you could cross the road (a 3 lanes road, totaled 6 lanes), right in front of the hotel is Mandarine Square. It's a modern shopping area (not a mall) with many individual shops (a bit high end) such as Arabian Ouds, Shabeddin Pastries and even al Baik. A mosque is also within walking distance. Overall it was a fantastic stay for us while waiting for our flight back to Malaysia. The airport is about 20 minutes drive or by Uber. The best part was when our flight was delayed, the lady at the reception allowed us to check out late from 200pm to 400pm...thank you very much.
