Perfect place by the lake. Rooms are comfortable and large (and renovated). The restaurant is also good.

Location is great if you are looking for tranquility. It’s quite, peaceful and in the countryside. Views over the lake are pretty so you should definitely book a room with a view.

“I miss the condensed milk latte, wished we could have had a swim but the price made it impossible.”
The location was beautiful, the view from the room spectacular. It was very, very hot when we were there and the air-conditioning was welcome. The bed was comfortable and the desk staff were helpful calling taxis for us.

The lake view was exceptional but really the only positive thing I can say. If you are looking for tranquility, solitude and have your own transport then you're on an absolute winner.

“A night at Cheongpung Resort”
The facilities are old but well maintained, the location is very isolated but nice. The breakfast was pretty good and the room was clean and large.

“The resort promotes an upscale stay that doesn’t match the promise.”
The only upside during our stay was the view on the lake from the room and maybe the space. Would need a refurbishment. Diner was good, breakfast OK.
