“Joyful and I totally recommend this place”

The staff are friendly and helpful. Miled, the manager, was there to welcome us. Since there’s no 24/7 room service and the restaurant opens at 10, he managed to brought me a coffee machine (Raqwa) to my room so I can enjoy my morning coffee, although the description of rooms does not include this. Location is excellent, the old souq is 3 minutes walking distance. I enjoyed the terrace big time!

“Don’t bother”

1. I arrive after booking this place weeks in advance, somehow (when they finally come to the reception desk) they are shocked. 2. The girl says she needs to keep my passport because I wasn’t ready to pay immediately, and when I politely ask where she’s keeping it, she became annoyed and said “I’m working here, I’m busy!” Awful attitude, so rude. That’s the most unwelcome I’ve ever felt in years of travelling. 3. They take me to a room and once I put down my bag, the owner says “no someone else needs this room” and they move me to a different one. 4. The rooms are fine, but the soundproofing is terrible, you can hear people as if they are right next you. 5. Early in the morning, the LED lights in my room switched on, this means these bunglers have lazily set up the electrical system to power light for all rooms with one switch. And it woke me up for no reason. 6. They make the poor Bangladeshi woman do everything and she is visibly tired and stressed. 7. The duvet is way too thick. This is a HOT COUNTRY. 8. To top it all off, there is a sign in the room which said something like “we want to provide you a comfortable budget room for your stay, please leave feedback it’s valuable to us”. This is just cheeky. It’s not budget, it’s expensive for such garbage. And I’m pretty sure these owners won’t read this. I didn’t eat at the restaurant. But I saw the prices, and you can find way cheaper, quality food around here. If anyone is thinking of booking here, don’t, because you’ll be extremely disappointed.

Cozy room with a little outdoor area with a bench and table to relax. Located closely to the lovely little harbour of Byblos. Staff fantastic and made our stay memorable. Wi-Fi fast and reliable, bed comfy. All in all a lovely little place to stay at a decent price.

The owner of the place is a really nice person. The place is well located, nearby the port and places of interest.

“Lovely Lebanon”

Top !! truly Mr. Meled took care of everything, and Mr. Kubir was always there on call. Nice old building cottage design near Byblos Fort and Beach. Surely we'll visit them again, I strongly recommend this place for it's simplicity and the nice people. 😊

“Great location and hospitality”

The location was excellent - close to the harbour, the public beach, the archeological site, the souls and restaurants. The three rooms have a comfortable communal setting area and drinking water. It’s clean and the beds are comfortable at a good price. The wifi was excellent. Miled, the manager, went above and beyond in helpfulness and concern. As a solo traveler it was ideal

The staff were wonderful, the history of the hotel and restaurant were amazing and visiting the museum of artefacts was so unexpected. This place is rich in history and culture. Knowing that so many world leaders, celebrities and artists have eaten in the restaurant made the experience even richer.

The location is absolutely perfect. The simple rooms include everything you need as a solo, budget traveller. Milad and the rest of the staff are a delight to deal with.

the Manager Mr. Milad, is extremely helpful & nice!! he makes the whole difference ! the location is key ! the rooms are beautiful <3, very well equipped and have a great ventilation & AC. the rooms come with a kettle and they offer you 2 bagels as long a variety of drinks which are really a pick up after a long drive! Beds are comfy too !! in the heart of Byblos and all activities, souks, nights, shops, restos.
