Set among the tall pines and overlooking the rivers of Jasper National Park, this lodge features a fine restaurant and wood-burning fireplaces. The town of Jasper is 2 km away. Local hardwoods and stones are used in the building of the Tekarra Lodge cabins and rooms. Each cabin also features a stone fireplace and a balcony. Tekarra Restaurant serves an expert-made choice of local and global dishes in a quaint setting. Reservations may be needed on some nights. Guests can hike the lodge’s trails or enjoy the children’s playground. Bikes, binoculars and portable DVD players can also be rented. No TVs are found at the lodge. During the summer season, guests can enjoy an array of outdoor activities such as a fitness bootcamp, children's scavenger hunt and a magic show. The Marmot Basin is 28 minutes' drive from Tekarra Lodge. The Jasper Tramway is 4 km away.

“Amazing”
My husband and I were travelling to Canada for my 40th birthday. When we arrived we had the amazing surprise from Stephanie thé manager, that we had been upgraded! We had an exceptional cabin in front if the water, it was huge and super clean. The staff was extremely friendly. I truly recommend this place! Thank you again Stephanie for what you did, and your kindness. Happy 40th to you too from a Stephanie to another!!

We were unable to secure a cabin and stayed in a room within the main lodge. The room was clean and the bedroom was comfortable. Quiet location with great views of the river and mountains. A short walk to the main town. Great included breakfast.

“Great location - shame about the room size”
Lovely location and I'm sure the log cabins are great, but we stayed in a room in the lodge. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good.

“Wonderful feeling of a wilderness stay but with all the comforts”
The setting of Tekarra Lodge is amazing. Perched above the river below I spent as much time as I could just taking in the view - every part of the day brought new breathtaking perspectives on the same view. And occasional visiting wildlife. Extremely peaceful and calming. The location so close to Jasper but the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere was also great. We were in the original cottages which we loved - so cosy and atmospheric of days gone by. The evening events were an added bonus. We particularly enjoyed the indigenous talk and learning about the First Nations. Great restaurant too :)

What a great place to stay with all of the bonus of evening s’mores and singing from First Nation lady. The complimentary breakfast was also delicious. Definitely will be going back if we ever go through the Rockies again!

Stunning location. Excellent accomodation. Superbly comfortable bed & powerful shower. Elk can be seen walking around the lodges & beautiful river setting. S'mores around the firepit on an evening. 10minute walk in to Jasper
