Great food - very healthy breakfast, superb evening meal cooked by our host Paul. Great wines chosen by Paul. Lots of useful pointers on where to go and what to do. The 2 pools one inside and one outside were clean and well looked after. Heavenly outside space to chill and walk etc.

Very nice accommodation with super friendly hosts that make you feel very welcome. Comfortable, nicely renovated rooms with very nice bed and bathroom. Nice garden with many seating options in sun and shadow that adds a lot to the relaxing atmosphere. Delicious dinners (table d'hotes) with matching wines, prepared and presented with passion. Truly recommendable; the many positive reviews give a realistic evaluation!

“Absolutely Fabulous, Highly Recommend”
We couldn’t have felt more at home here at Chateau Vary. From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we were greeted by Lola the dog. We’d been travelling for 3 weeks prior and were missing at dog back home in Australia. So it felt like home. Benedict and Paul are the nicest people we’ve ever met and made our stay really memorable. The food here was amazing we looked forward to coming home each day after exploring the area and smelling what delicious things Paul was cooking up in the kitchen. My 18yr old son said it felt like saying goodbye to family as we drive out the driveway. We will definitely be coming back here again and again.

A beautiful chateau with tasteful furnishings, great rooms and a spacious park with pools and hot tub. Paul, Bénédicte and Alberto are fantastic and enthusiastic hosts who leave nothing to be desired. The breakfasts and dinners are very good and dining together is a pleasure. What an incredible place- such a beautiful Chateau, with beautifully decorated, immaculately clean rooms, and the most wonderful welcoming hosts. The communal dining table made breakfasts and dinners an interesting and fun social gathering, and Alberto’s, Paul’s and Benedicte’s cooking and company made our stay extra special. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed and can’t wait to go back.

Everything. The location was beautiful. The hosts and staff were just the best people. The food and hospitality amazing. The Chataeu beautiful. A true highlight of our holiday. Hopefully we can get back there next trip.
