I experienced the most beautiful scenery of Jardin here. From this place, I can overlook the entire mountain and town—the peaceful cows, the stunning sunsets, and the sky full of stars at night. There is also a lovely garden, with fallen flowers scattered across the lawn. I saw more than ten different kinds of birds, and they visit often. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I truly felt at home during my stay. There are also adventures to enjoy—the zipline was especially fun! The drinks are refreshing, and the rooms are very comfortable. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and I was able to rest very well here. Finally, I would like to thank my host, Gustavo. Thank you for creating this place—he is a truly talented artist. A beautiful location with fantastic views down the valley towards Jardin. Our rooms were excellent and very tastefully furnished. We even got up at dawn to listen to the morning birdsong concert which was amazing.

Fantastic stay at Gulupa, the staff were warm and welcoming. The rooms are amazing and the views are even better. The food at the cafe is good and the breakfast is delicious. It's only 10-15 minutes in a tuk tuk to town and the staff are happy to call those for you. A peaceful spot to unwind with nature in Jardin.

What a fantastic place to stay! Not too far from Jardin and yet an oasis of peace and tranquility. Nestled in a pretty garden, the view from all the rooms down the valley is stunning with abundant bird life and surrounded by beautiful vegetation. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful and all the staff are genuinely lovely people. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to others.

The setting is enchanting, a few km above the town, an idyllic and thoroughly relaxing environment with stunning views, lots of birds and flowers. The room was very spacious and attractive, with natural materials, a terrace and outdoor jacuzzi, and plenty of outlets. Good shower. The staff are very friendly and helpful

“Confort, calm and amazing view of Jardin”

We loved the lodge. The cabin was very comfy and the view is amazing. Super nice breakfast with arepa, queso, fruits, eggs, coffee etc. It is really calm and well managed. Communication was great. You need 15min with a tuk tuk from Jardin center to get there and enjoy the confort, the calm and the view. Fully recommended.

“Perfect!”

Absolutely loved the ecolodge. It’s a 10 min tuktuk ride from the town, in the most beautiful setting with incredible views. It feels extremely peaceful and like you’re right out in nature. All the staff are amazing, so friendly, chatty, and shared helpful recommendations with us. Very comfy beds, delicious food and drinks, all very reasonably priced. Our favourite place we’ve stayed so far in our 3 week trip around Colombia.

“A very special place”

This lodge is wonderful, as are the people that run it. Here’s why you should stay at Gulupa Ecolodge: - the location is wonderful. It is nestled in the green hills overlooking Jardín. The views are exceptional and the gardens are lush and well-kept; - the rooms are comfortable, clean, and well furnished. The bathroom is modern and has a large shower with excellent hot water and water pressure (something we always prioritise); - the lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay - the home-cooked pasta is phenomenal and you get decent coffee, fruit, and eggs for breakfast. We especially liked the high-quality yoga mats and yoga blocks. There is an elevated outdoor section where you can practise yoga with a gentle breeze and impressive views; - Gustavo and the rest of the team are so friendly and do everything they can to ensure you have a wonderful time. They really do everything they can to include you and ensure you enjoy the stay; - So much thought has gone into the property, from the hammocks you can hang outside your room to the carefully curated gardens. We loved our time here and highly recommend it to others. Finally, the lodge is located about 15-20 minutes away from town by tuk-tuk, or a 45ish minute walk. Tuk-tuks are only about 20,000 COP per journey and you can find them everywhere in town, especially close to the main square. Personally, we loved the fact that the lodge is outside of the main town, this makes it especially peaceful and tranquil.

Amazing stay !! Everything was perfect, the place, the food, the personal. Super clean, all commodities. The jacuzzi is a real plus ! Gustavo is so kind, they offered me a birthday cake and a free canope because I arrived on the day of my birthday! thank you for everything ! Great WiFi too, I was able to work without problem.

“Top of the clouds, Cozy , beautiful”

The host was very nice to talk to and how he made these cottages himself. I was a sick during the stay and the way the chef adjusted the breakfast to soothe my discomfort. It's a beautiful location atop jardin and is super tidy and wel thought out.
