Beautiful and spacious accommodation. It was just a stone throw away from the sea. Though not in the beach front, its just a minute walk to there. Food was okay. They really put in an effort to make you feel at home. Every room has its own private patio so it's possible to not even meet other guests.

Very nice stay with amazing staff

The hosting was amazing, lovely family! They do what ever they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We had alot of problem with power cut off and Haji explained it all for us! He even got a solar panel to make the situation better. They need all the support in these tough times

The owner is wonderful. He has a fantastic family, the room was clean and of a high standard. There is air conditioning in the room. Everything works without any problems. The breakfasts are delicious. Acommodation are very close to the beach. The facility exceeded our expectations. If I will come back to Zanzibar, I will stay there only! I highly recommend it

“Amazing”

Host is lovely. Breakfast we got every morning was amazing. Fresh omelettes and bread then a huge fruit platter to finish. We even had tea with them one night and this was also incredible. He showed us round the local area and even got up at 3am to see us off when we left for the aiport. Couldn’t recommend enough!

“A wonderful time spent amongst a wonderful family.”

What a wonderful generous family and an honour to have been able to stay with them. The room is very large and has good facilities. On arrival the bed was beautifully decorated for us and cleaning was offered every other day. Breakfast is a huge WOW factor, with loads of fruit of different types and fresh bread and eggs. Haji and his wife are both so kind, it really made our holiday to be immersed with local people rather than in a hotel. It’s super close to both beach and local restaurants and the many friendly welcoming shops on the street behind. Haji wasnt there when we departed and he went out of his way to call us and wish us farewell. I think that tells you everything that you need to know about this lovely family. Thanks guys. B+J

“Just really WOW!”

It was just really WOW!! Haji and his family was very kind and so helpfull. We felt like at home. Room was very spacious and cozy. Breakfast was just amazing!! We had to wait till evening to be hungry because we got every morning big plate full of fruits and eggs with totally delicios bread which baked Haji’s wife. We got also water and in the room was a small fridge, it was very nice surprise. Haji is very special person, he took us also to Jozani forest and Spice farm by dala dala and he took care about us like we were his family. Thank you !!! If we could we would rate 11/10!

“A wonderful and joyous experience”

I had a wonderful time staying at Wow beach house situated 2 minutes from the beach! Haji and his wife are so delightful and made me feel so welcome. The breakfast was delicious and so fresh. Every morning I had freshly baked bread, the best cup of Tanzanian coffee, a smoothie and an amazing wide variety of fruit. There was also an option of eggs (3 different ways!) but I don't eat egg so I didn't have that. Furthermore there was a morning where I had to leave early (5 am) for a day trip and they packed up my breakfast in a to go bag and it was waiting for me outside my room door, as I was leaving that early morning. So kind of them. As a woman traveling alone staying there was a great choice. They helped me navigate Jambiani which made me feel even safer. Bonus! Haji is also a kite surfer instructor and he gave me a lesson, which was fun. Extra extra bonus! Their children are the sweetest and cutest girls. In conclusion: if you're staying in Jambiani, this is the place to stay!

“Stay in a family, close to the Jambiani beach”

Wonderful breakfast, homemade wow bread, 10 steps from the beach. Flowers, fruits, coconut, good bed. Nice people, attentive to guest. We also had dinner there...sure the best 2 of our journey! Thank you Haji and family

“Hidden gem!”

A hidden gem in Jambiani Zanzibar. We were welcomed by the entire family who run this accommodation together. Haji and his wife are super hospitable and you can feel the love they both put in their place! The room is well equipped, nice airco, fans and good shower. Less than 1 minute from the beach! You even have your own shady seating area in front of the room. She made us a lovely tasty dinner on the day of our arrival. The three daughters are so sweet and came to talk to us a lot. This way the oldest girl learns English. In the morning we had breakfast and it was not only very tasteful (eggs and bread) but the fruit platter and juice were out of this world! When we said our goodbye’s today it felt like saying goodbye to friends! Hope you stay well and wish you all the best to you and your beautiful family Haji!

Great owners, wonderful place. Very delicious breakfast, beautiful room. Great location, very close to the ocean. A place to rest outside the building. We are here for the second time, if we ever come to Zanzibar again, we will definitely come back to this place and wonderful people. “I would encourage my friends to stay at Wow Beach, that's the best recommendation I can give”

What can I say, breakfast was extraordinary, plentiful, varied - you don't realise how fresh fruit really tastes until you've tried it here. The host, Haji, is very caring, helpful and dedicated to providing you with the best possible stay. If you want to go kite surfing, he's a professional instructor, if you want to go sailing on a local dhow, he can set you up with that too. It's Africa, the power will cut out from time to time, there's no generator on site, but go sit in one of larger beach cafés, they'll sometime have a generator, if you absolutely needs to have wi-fi or charge your devices at that very moment. Wow beach house perfectly situated between the beach and the local village. It is one house down from the beach and one house up from the village, so you get the best of both. The village has local restaurants and small shops where you can buy soda, snacks, fresh fruit etc., all very friendly. The beach front has lots of beach bars where you can sit, enjoy the ocean breeze, a cool drink or a meal.

The breakfast was amazing, it was home-made by our host family. Really delicious organic food, big portions. Our hosts were very kind and supportive. The location is perfect, the ocean is literally 1 minute walk from the accomodation.

I love Wow Beach House and I love this Family. It is my second time to stay there. Amazing breakfast with Omelette, fresh fruit, smoothies and homemade bread. Haji, the owner is the best kite instructor. I’ll come back again!♥️♥️
