Ocean Boho House is a wonderful place where you can relax in the peaceful atmosphere of exotic surroundings. The staff and owners are very kind and welcoming. I would also like to mention the manager, who was extremely helpful. The food is always fresh and delicious

They did not have a back up when there’s a load shedding. They need to invest on other alternatives for electricity back (generators or solar panels)

The Location is amazing. It is just a short walk to the beach. The hotel has a serene and calm feel to it. We relaxed by the pool in the day and had the most romantic dinners at night. There was even a :Night Market" on Friday wich was really special with lots of different foods from different countries on offer. Our room was spacious, clean and serviced regularly. Honestly it was one of our most romantic and relaxing getaways. The highlights were definitely the food, exceptional breakfast, our favorite lunch item was the "Smash Burger" they also have a shop SMASH Burger now in Paje! Dinner was always fabulous and romantic. The feel of the place is very charming. There is also a shop with the most beautiful clothes, jewelry and so much more. I spend the same amount on merchandise then on my stay, but it was worth it. The rooms are very spacious and clean and has a BOHO CHIC to it. Staff are always friendly and attentive. From carrying our bags to switching on our AC and water heater, they literally will not let you do anything. The manager and her team need a big applause. They made us feel welcome and Safe at all times. They even arranged tours and taxis for us at very reasonable prices, compared to some of the other places.

This place is perfectly located just a short walk to both the beach and the main road, making it super convenient yet peaceful. Whether you're lounging under the trees or taking a dip, it's the ideal spot to unwind and recharge. The staff were absolutely wonderful: warm, friendly, and always ready to help. Sylvester, the owner, is a fantastic host who even recommended a great local restaurant to explore the flavors of the area. Breakfast is made fresh to order from a curated menu not a buffet which adds a personal touch. And let me tell you, their smash burger is next-level. I’d rate it 11/10 without hesitation.

“Nice hotel”

Jambiani is such a beautiful area — the beach is just wow! It’s easy to get around, and the location is perfect to explore and relax. The hotel itself is really nice and full of life. The staff are amazing — super friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The restaurant is great too, and the breakfast was delicious every morning. Overall, we had a great time here and really enjoyed our stay! 🌺

“Beautiful”

The property is just a walk away from the beach. The staff is so friendly such that they even walk with you to show the directions to the beach. There was live music almost every night but I was there. The breakfast is exceptional. The staff is very helpful and always there when you need them. On one of the days was my birthday and they had the live band sing for me which was very sweet and I appreciate so much. Everything is as it seems in the Pictures and looks 10 times better once you get there

Lets start with how graciously and welcoming all staff was and how easy our check-in and orientation was. The management is exceptional. We had the most decadent dinner curated by owner and chef of this pristine establishment. The food was of the highest quality with amazing local flavor's putting the spice island right on your plate. The cocktails and wine list also fabulous. Our room was super big with nice Zanzibar and bohemian touches and super clean, the shower and water pressure just perfect. WIFI is all over excellent on this property and they have the cutest play area for kids if you just want to come for an unforgettable lunch or dinner. well done to the Owners, managers, all round staff, everything your doing is working. WE WILL BE BACK

“Awesome trip & easy to work with”

We had an absolutely great time at Ocean Boho House! The food was incredible, everything was super clean and the staff was very friendly! When we started a guided tour at 7am already, the staff prepared some breakfast for us to take away! Also, we unfortunately forgot to hand back the key from the room and the hotel managed everything without any inconveniences or effort for us. Also, there is a DJ and live music so the mood is incredible!

Cute bouquet hotel in Jambiani. A short drive from Paje. Very good for relaxation but close distance to Paje. The hotel has an incredible restaurant, must try during the stay for a fusion cuisine. The staff is incredible. And they helped me with booking for tours and recommendations around the area.

Gorgeous place next to the beach which is again stunning! Comfortable spacious family rooms, amazing food. One night I wasn’t very well and they very kinda brought food to our balcony so I was comfortable and didn’t have to come into the restaurant! The staff were amazing as well as the owners!

Boutique hotel with lovely decor and yummy breakfast/cafe. Staff and owners are also lovely. Good location under 5 minutes walk to the beach. Felt very safe as solo traveller.

Nice structure Nice pool

The breakfast was nice. You are given a fruit platter as a starter, freshly squeezed fruit juice then a platter of freshly baked bread and croissant then the actual breakfast menu. Most of the things have eggs so if you’re not an egg person, you will be disadvantaged. The pool was also nice and clean. The aesthetic of the restaurant area and the pool area is cute, does fit the boho theme. The staff is very nice and friendly.

“Incredible”

We loved, loved, loved our stay at Ocean Boho House! We loved that the place was small (we don't like big hotels) with a beautiful garden, and a lovely pool to cool down, which we had to ourselves most of the time. All the staff was courteous and helpful. The food is incredible!! Silvester the chef makes amazing dishes and our Christmas dinner was to die for not to mention the setting in the garden with candlelight, pure magic! They made our time in Zanzibar unforgettable and we will definitely come back to our favourite new home away from home :-) Our love to Silevster, Aga and Hania and all the staff
