Located on a white, sandy beach between Paje and Jambiani, Mbuyuni Beach Village offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant. “Perfect”
I recently stayed at Mbuyuni Beach Village and had an excellent experience. The hotel’s location is perfect — close to Kilimanjaro mountain in a quiet area, ensuring peaceful nights. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional,always ready to assist with any request. Check‑in was swift and hassle‑free. My room was ,clean, and tastefully decorated in African style. It has a comfortable bed, and a well‑appointed bathroom. The daily housekeeping was thorough and discreet. Overall, Mbuyuni Beach Village exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to others.

“A favourite destination”
I have stayed at Mbuyuni Beach Village several times over the last decade or so and loved it from the first time. There have been some small changes over the years, and it it is a little bigger, but it remains rustic, comfortable, and real value for money. The staff are excellent: smiling, friendly, and helpful. The food is mostly very good. The pool is available for when the tide is out, and the general environment is beautiful and well established. You can use it as a base for exploring the island, or you can just chill. It isn't necessary to go elsewhere for anything unless you choose to do so. I will definitely return again.

“Quiet comfort”
Excellent food (octopus in the hotel restaurant unforgettable). The nearest beach absolutely scenic, although during the low tide impossible to swim. We walked a few minutes to Paje, which was better. Jambiani Beach also within a walking distance. Overall, we had a lovely stay there.

I enjoyed very much my stay in Mbuyuni. The staff is incredible! I spent 14 days there and I didn't have any problem. The place is calm, beautifully rustic and in a good distance from Jambiani and Paje. It's perfect if you are looking for peaceful and calm stay.

Beautiful location, amazing staff, good food! This place is a little paradise, a quiet place where you can relax. You can walk along the beach to Jambiani or Paje easily if you want to explore the area. Our room was comfortable, the staff are always happy to help you with whatever questions you have, easy to book tours or transport on the spot for fair prices. My friend and I enjoyed this place so much!

“We loved our stay at Mbuyuni”
Lovely place surrounded by lush vegetation, flowering trees and visiting monkeys. Really good clean swimming pool. A relaxed vibe. Unlimited water refills for a dollar a day to discourage the purchase of plastic bottles. The food served in the restaurant was excellent and abundant.
