Overall setting, quietness, very silent Aircon, mattress, towels, coffee station, issue-handling by staff, palm trees, style, bathroom, simplicity.

“Wished we had stayed longer!”

Beach front was such a treat. Lovely garden with so many beautiful plants and trees. Lying on a sun bed under the shade of the palm trees was perfect. Just a few steps to the beach through a gate and on to the sand and into the sea. We really liked having the pool too. Rooms were kept cool with AC. Friendly staff with a smile always on their faces!

I just loved this place. Simple, comfortable, green and the sea at the door step....what else can you ask for? Well, nice staff and these guys were incredibly friendly and kind and jumped in to sort out any problems or requests. I just loved staying here and even extended by two nights! I definitely will come back. Jambiani itself is a quiet location so if you are after the buzz you shall go to other places on the island. But if you are looking for relaxation, enjoying nature and falling asleep under the palm trees, this is your place!

“Perfection on the beach!”

The staff were extremely friendly and genuinely Couldn’t do more for me. The location is perfect as it’s on the beach and the facilities are incredible.

The staff, location and atmosphere were all exceptional. The location is a peaceful part of Zanzibar with just a 20 - 30min walk away from Paje. Nearby shops and restaurants are reasonably priced, Kobe itself provides everything you would need, though. It's literally like stepping in to a piece of paradise.

Overall OK but the Maisonette was not so good due wooden ceiling where above was another apartment therefore it was noisy when someone walking. Nice swimming pool and the beach .

“Perfect stay at Kobe House”

The quiet and familial atmosphere of the place was amazing. Fabio and Monia are very welcoming, you will feel at home. The staff is also very concerned about your well being, so nice! The room was more than enough for us, the food was delicious, from the breakfast to the buffet. The swimming pool and the garden are like a little oasis to relax after a day on a tour or after a beautiful walk along the shores. Many activities around, you can walk to Paje in 30 minutes along the beach, or continue to Jambiani direction. We recommend 100% the tour to walk on the reef and with a traditional boat.

“Even better the second time”

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and the quality of service was even better than during my previous visit. My room was spacious and spotless, with a private bathroom, balcony, air conditioning, and a fridge – simply fantastic. Breakfasts and other meals were delicious and satisfying. The property itself is very pleasant, with a lovely garden and a swimming pool, and the staff are exceptionally helpful and professional. I will definitely be coming back here again.

A small lovely, family-owned, well maintained oasis right at the beach, we loved our apartment (#13) - super nicely serviced by a very friendly and kind team - perfectly shaded pool & garden with old trees, we loved every piece of it, breakfast has lots of variety (eg FRUITS, "spanish omelette" 😉), many other restaurants are in walking distance at the beach (if needed)
