Everything was amazing! They made our honeymoon very memorable. The location is fantastic, the room is comfortable, the room has an aircon as well as a fan for those warm afternoons, and the cherry on top is the fact that the staff go above and beyond to make your stay an experience you won't forget

“A very memorable stay”

My stay here was absolutely wonderful and exactly what I needed. The whole team was extremely welcoming, friendly and professional in equal measure. Everyone was always willing to help, and when I had an issue it was fixed fast. I very much appreciated the little moments that made the stay special, like watching coconuts being picked, or being around when the team brought in a huge fresh tuna. The bungalow was really cozy, clean and comfortable, I loved it! The area overall is such a beautiful and peaceful green space with its own personality. And its own lovely cat! Breakfast, as well as the dinners I had there, were always plentiful and tasty, in a nice setup very close to the ocean. I enjoyed staying at Garden Beach Bungalows tremendously, and I'm happy I got to meet you all! Hope to be back some day.

“A magical and authentic stay with a stunning location and incredible staff”

The location is simply fantastic. The hotel feels like it was built right on the sand, offering a magical atmosphere where you are constantly in touch with the sea. Unlike the more famous and crowded areas in the north of Zanzibar, Jambiani offers a much more authentic experience. The rhythm of the tides is mesmerizing; it creates shifting, magical landscapes that are far more fascinating than any other part of the island. A special mention must go to the staff. The guys at the bar and restaurant are amazing—extremely polite, friendly, and always ready to help in any situation. Their hospitality really made us feel at home.

Beautiful resort. My bungalow was so lovely and directly on the sea. I woke up every day with the sound of the sea. It is beautiful to open the door and see the sunrise on the beach. The place for breakfast is a super nice restaurant, directly on the beach and all the guys are fantastic. A very big thank you to Salum (our driver) and to the boss !! Thank you boss for everything ❤️

Beautiful setting on a great beach. Friendly staff, lively bar area with a decent evening menu. Large breakfast. Rooms are basic but clean and comfy.

Our bungalow was clean and comfortable with views of the beach from our little porch. Breakfasts were yummy and staff at the Lost Soles bar/restaurant were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again!

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who handled every inquiry and problem with care. Excellent food and drinks. Fun and welcoming atmosphere at the "Lost Soles" bar. Special 40th birthday celebration with a decorated dining table and staff singing. Genuine hospitality that made the stay memorable. Strong sense of community and personal connections.

This is our second visit to Garden beach bungalows and cannot wait to visit again.

We had a great stay at Garden Beach Bungalows in Jambiani. The location is perfect – right on the beach with a peaceful, relaxing vibe. The bungalows are simple, clean, and just steps from the ocean. What really stood out was the staff. They were all super friendly, kind, and always ready to help. Their warm energy and positive attitude made the whole experience feel extra special. If you're looking for a laid-back place with beautiful surroundings and amazing staff, we definitely recommend it!

“Hakuna Matata!”

Wonderful position on the very sea side, you can stay barefoot during the entire vacation thanks to the sandy ground. Incredibile and super welcoming staff: Bakari, Shokolo, Michael, Sagat, Francis and Salom (not to mention the kitchen and housekeeping staff) always helpful and available to satisfy our requests.

Beautiful location, direct to the sea. Very nice and friendly personel and a perfect breakfast. Clean rooms. The restaurant was nice but some more African food options could be added, as it was almost all European.

“Wonderful”

We made sure to get the seaview room, and we were not diasapointed!! We slept each night with the balcony doors open, the breeze, the sounds of the sea, it was amazing! This seaview room does not have airconditioning (it's also not advertised, so you know what you're getting) but we did not need ac at all with the ever blowing winds coming in when we opened up the windows and terrace doors. The included breakfast choices were lovely, and we noticed many other tourists coming up from by the beach for lunch or dinner too, and for being such a small place, I think they do really well offering so many (well prepared choices)

“Lovely staff and great vibe!”

I absolutely loved this hotel! The place is simple and quiet, but still comfortable and beautiful. The definition of serenity! It is right on the beach, but very well settled, so the beach boys can't really bother you. I felt safe throughout my stay. I enjoyed my days in between laying on the beach chairs by the beach (when it was low tide), in the ocean (high tide), and in the pool, which was just perfect in every way! Food and drinks are amazing - loved the tuna tartar!! And the staff are the star of the place, they are so nice, friendly and caring! All of them were very nice since the moment I arrived and they were always making sure I was okay. The bar is beautiful and has so much character!
