Peaceful location. Fantastic staff.

Beautiful setting and very friendly staff. A nice quiet part of the east coast, we walked 90 minutes up the beach to the bigger town Paje on a couple of accessions and taxi’s back.

“Decent hotel but bad location”

Pretty hotel, decent restaurant, it is beach front which is nice. They decorated the room upon arrival for our honeymoon and gave us welcome drinks too. Overall friendly staff. They made us breakfast packs for when we had an early start and couldn’t attend breakfast.

Beach front..spotless..great staff in restaurant..night security are lovely..fab pool ..easy walk to the local little shop passing locals along the way all giving a big hello ..plenty of restaurants along the beach but I only ate at belvedere restaurant as it was so good..very filling breakfast and food /drinks available throughout the day

“Perfect”

Belvedere hotel is a really nice and peaceful place, with a very kind and welcoming staff. My room was spacious and confortable, nicely decorated, the bed was huge, i even had a kettle and a mini fridge, everything was perfect. And some days, when the humidity was high, having air con was a plus. The sea is just in front and you can see it from the swimming pool, well appreciated when the tide is low. Breakfast was very good and generous - coffee or tea, eggs as you like, toasts with butter and jam, pancakes, fresh fruits, yogurt with fresh mango and passion fruit : a good way to start your day ! A big thanks for everything to everyone 🩵

“Belvedere Resort is truly heaven on earth.”

Belvedere Resort is truly heaven on earth. The ocean views from the room are absolutely breathtaking — waking up to that every morning felt unreal. The atmosphere is private, peaceful, and beautifully boutique, making it the perfect place to escape and fully unwind. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable — plenty of space to relax and enjoy your stay. Housekeeping is done properly, and the housekeeping team pays great attention to detail — the cleaning is thorough, and the rooms are always perfectly refreshed. The pool is everything you dream of — big, well-maintained, and with a stunning ocean view that never gets old. The staff are wonderful, warm, helpful, and truly make you feel taken care of. Honestly, I can’t say a single bad thing about this place. I would come back in a heartbeat — without hesitation.

“Beat hotel in Zanzibar with an incredible beach”

- no noise at all - stylish - food was very good (we have been to 5 hotels in Zanzibar and Belvedere had the best food) - amazing beach. Very few sellers on the beach and people. - sunbeds are very close to the sea - staff was outstanding and helped us arrange everything we needed

Service and food was great. Also the music/dance performance during a dinner was nice. We also liked that the resort is still small scale.

“Chill out - you need this!”

Awesome place with amazing views from the bungalows - you wake up to a rising sun that shines directly into your room! The bungalows are really comfy and spacious. Everything is kept in a good clean condition. The hotel has a really great infinity pool with stunning sea views. The breakfast and restaurant are ok. Direct beach access with a few steps from your room which is pretty empty most of the time!

“Fabulous Hotel situated on the beach”

The location was stunning, the staff amazing the manager arranged medical assistance and transport to the hospital for us. The breakfast has a good choice of food and there are daily specials.
