I felt like I was in paradise. The villa is in a perfect location, and everything was spotless and well-maintained. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient. Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff were exceptional, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Rehema was amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The manager was also very friendly and made a point of personally meeting us, which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this villa and would happily stay here again.

Babu Villas made everything on Sansibar perfect for us. It was the place, where we could just look at the indian ocean, start a walk at the beach, stay in or outside the appartement and enjoy everything around it. It is the perfect quite place for reading, looking and just being. The team was always there when we had questions and for the daily support. The breakfast was delicious, every day with fresh food. Very helpful tipps for restaurants are given by the team. We would definitely come again to Babu Villas.

“The Perfect Stay”

Our stay at Babu could have not been better. I would go back here in a heartbeat and I am definitely recommending it to my friends and colleagues. The beach where the place is located is perfect if you want to relax, we went to visit others such as Paje and they were just too busy for us. The sea is gorgeous, when the tide is low it is the perfect place to be as you can just walk to the sandbanks. The property is spacious and is meticulously thought and looked after. The garden is stunning and the pool has enough shade and sun for you to pick. The views from our villa was just stunning. The beds are big and the bathrooms are too. Melie looked after us super well and her recommendations for trips were always spot on. We had the chef at night for a few nights and it was delicious and totally worth the money. The breakfast in the morning was the best pancakes ever, amazing jam, granola, yoghurt, fruit, different breads etc.. I travelled with a nearly 2 year old and it was the perfect place to her too, everyone was welcoming to her and they even arranged a car seat! I hope to come here again soon!

Great location with an amazing balcony to the beach. Big but still very cozy apartment with everything you need. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast and some nice restaurants within walking distance.

“Unforgettable stunning beachfront villa”

The location was perfect, right on the beach. The villa was beautifully decorated with personal touches that created a very relaxed vibe. We truly felt as if we were in paradise and could never tire of the view from our terrace. The staff were exceptionally nice, especially Melie, the manager, who was incredibly helpful and a lovely person. She explained everything thoroughly, and even when she wasn’t on-site, she was just a message away, offering her support. Reyhema and Mwanajuma were also very nice andhelpful. They brought us delicious, plentiful breakfasts in the morning, complete with fresh fruits and homemade pastries. My boys wanted eggs and pancakes, and they made them specifically for us. Additionally, when my husband had a bit of a cold, Reyhema prepared a lovely homemade ginger and lemon tea. Mwanajuma also took the initiative to make us delicious tea with fresh lemongrass. On our last day, we had a personal issue, and Melie and Reyhema went above and beyond to assist us, with Reyhema coming to the villa on her day off to help us out. We wholeheartedly recommend this property if you’re looking for a home away from home and a taste of paradise!

The property's meticulous attention to detail, including freshly baked cookies upon arrival and a selection of books in three languages, available for guests to enjoy on the beach, is noteworthy. Its prime beachfront location is a significant advantage, and the host offers airport transportation at a reasonable rate. The exceptional experience provided by the host has resulted in a truly remarkable establishment.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful apartment perfect location. We had a sea view with a lovely balcony with swing, chairs and sunbed and the bedroom also opened out onto the balcony and had a wonderful view. Therese couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. The apartment was beautiful and had everything you needed and even had a large water cooler. The pool area was great and it was a good size pool with a hammock as well as sunbeds, and it was located on a quiet part of the beach where you can watch kitesurfers and local people working on the boats and children playing in the evening. They arranged a great day out snorkelling and seeing all the different coloured starfish. We loved it and really did not want to leave. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was more than we would normally spend but we didn't regret it. Oh and breakfasts were great. Varied, fresh and plentiful with smoothies every day. And the homemade granola was gorgeous, we don't normally eat granola but are now converts. Shame it is a secret recipe. Book Babu Villas you won't regret it.

During our journey, everything was perfect! The whole staff, and especially Theresa, were always kind and available, ready to help us in every situation and to give us advice about the best activities and restaurants to experience here! A perfect environment both for families and couples, particularly for those who want to avoid mass tourism! The view was amazing, in front of the seaside, with an ever-clean pool where to daily relax. Thanks again Theresa :)

“Amaizing family get away location”

Our family had an unforgettable time at Babu Villa. My 4-year-old and 10-year-old were constantly torn between the pool and the ocean – like they had to choose between two paradises! One minute they were in the pool, the next they were running to the beach. With a stunning turquoise ocean view just steps away, we’ll definitely be back soon!

Everything was beyond perfect (including the fiber internet), but the most enchanting was the loving generosity of its owners and their A-Team: they will instantly make you feel a member of their family, being very true to the charisma of "Babu’s" and "Bibi’s" ('grand-parents' in Swahili'): warm and secure, genuine and treasuring. Wow wow wow! What a gem in Jambiani! We loved absolutely everything, from the quality of the accommodation, the friendly and helpful staff to the location and access to the beach and the many restaurants nearby. Selina, the property manager was friendly, approachable and an asset to the team, whilst the ladies on site every day were all incredible. They couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast far surpassed our expectations. They went out of their way to ensure our dietary requirements were met, and everyday they provided us with so much yummy food and fruits. The transfer from the airport was organised and stress free. We loved watching the sunrise every morning from our terrace. Jambiani is slightly quieter than other parts of the island which we loved and the property is so peaceful, despite being 3 apartments it’s quiet and everyone is respectful. This was our favourite part of our trip to Zanzibar and in hindsight, wish we’d stayed longer than the 4 nights we had. Highly recommend!!!

“Our little piece of heaven”

What a wonderful 10 day holiday we’ve had here at Babu Villas. We can honestly say it’s been the perfect experience from the start and being collected at the airport by Moody our driver. Leonie and Salus the owners of these wonderful villas introduced themselves when we arrived, giving us some knowledge and guidance and Selina, in her managerial role is an expert in all aspects about Zanzibar. Her knowledge about the Island is incredible and her professionalism is of high standard, especially for one so young, making us feel so welcome and reassured, especially as this was our first time not travelling with a package tour. You are a credit to the team Selina 😄 Selina mentioned that Babu Villas wanted us to have a home from home experience and that is definitely what they’ve given us. Her and the team, from the villa staff, drivers of the private hire cabs, teddys staff(they’re sister location) and nighttime security guards were all so friendly and warm, teaching us Swahili, feeling safe and literally being there for all of our needs at the drop of a hat - whatever we wanted was there via a WhatsApp message. The location has been our little bit of heaven with Jambiani being the place for relaxation and pole pole - taking things slow. The morning sunrise over the sea is probably what I’ll miss the most. Every morning we have had the most incredible views, along with the sound of the sea and the comfiest of beds is heaven, making us feel very lucky. The apartment is clean, spacious and of high quality with Rehema delivering a delicious breakfast daily. The three villas have its own pool which feels well needed after you’ve soaked up the sun, with sun loungers and chairs and tables around for us to enjoy our lunch, or a refreshing beer, usually having it to ourselves, adding to the relaxed ambience and feeling very lucky. We have had the most wonderful time here in Jambiani, at Babu villas and made the best memories we will treasure forever.

Excellent location in (so far) rather quiet and authentic Jambiani, with breathtaking views from the apartment with balcony. Perfect balance of privacy, safety and hospitality. Lovely details throughout, we found our tropical selves when wearing the robes provided. Fantastic staff, special thanks to Selina & Harith who made us feel even more at home. Best possible place for a Zanzibar vacation!
