Asali house is a dream. This is our second time staying there after 2 years, and the house is still in impeccable condition. The location is perfect. Direct access to the beach made for incredible views, and we thoroughly enjoyed our daily walks. Last but not least, the staff went out of their way to make our stay as memorable as possible! Super helpful and professional with a smile. I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again.

The house is amazing. Four ensuite rooms, three of them with beach views. Kitchen is well equipped. Staff is also very friendly and professional. Haji, the driver, was very helpful with our grocery shopping and tours. Kids loved the swimming pool. Plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance and having the option of meals prepared by the chef Ahmed is an added bonus. Our family loved the stay!

The house far exceeded my expectations as the photographs do not do it justice. Each of the four bedrooms is large and has a large bathroom en suite. They open onto a central courtyard, with a private pool. There is a central living and dining room and a large front patio with a daybed, perfect for napping. The house opens directly onto the beach. A stand out was the staff. They are polite and eager to be of service. Ahmed, the chef, prepared a substantial breakfast each day and, when required, lunches and 3-course dinners, which were delicious. Upendo and Habiba looked after us exceptionally well. They are unobtrusive but available when required. I can unreservedly recommend a stay at Asali house.

“Amazing beach house in Zanzibar perfect for a big group”

We loved everything about our stay here! We were a group of 6 girls and we went for a girls trip. We felt super safe because there is security at night and a driver to take you around any time of the day. The beach house is so nice!! I feel like it looks even nicer in person. There is so much room and it’s so spacious! The bedrooms are big, all en-suite and super comfortable. We also l loved that it was literally right by the beach! 20 steps and you’re by the water. The living room and kitchen are open plan and there’s so much space, plenty of lounge chairs around as well. The pool is in the middle of the house which was also great. But above all else, the best part was the staff. Chef Ahmed and Habibi were amazing! They made our stay so memorable.

I loved the views from the house. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we all had a great night's rest. Food was really tasty, and the staff were kind and extremely helpful and accommodating

The only complaints is the house next door was a local gathering place for the community and they would play loud music and loud conversations. The kitchen did not have any pots so we had to bother Amed every time for one.

The house lies directly at a wonderful beach front. All rooms are beautifully furnished, beds are very comfortable and the views over the ocean are superb. The staff is extremely friendly and the food was excellent. We’ve had a perfect stay and will be back for sure. Thank you so much to the whole team!

Incredible house! The veranda, rooms and bathrooms are insanely beautiful and well looked after - the staff there is so wonderful - Habiba (housekeeper) and Ahmed (chef). We had a lunch and dinner prepared by the chef and both were excellent and great value for money ($15pp for a 3 course dinner!) Be sure to bring some cash to tip them well because they really deserve it and they go above and beyond whenever you need something.
