I recently stayed at Alma Boutique Hotel in Jambiani, and I can say it was a very good experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome and the atmosphere is intimate, stylish, and so thoughtfully designed. My room was beautiful and I can listen to the sound of the ocean. The beach with white sand, crystal-clear water, and peaceful. The restaurant was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But what really made the stay special was the team at Alma. Every single person I met was warm, kind, and genuinely attentive. They made me feel special, always ready with a smile. I’ll be back again!

We recently stayed at Alma Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar and had an outstanding experience overall. The service was top-notch—especially the garsons, who were super friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The restaurant was amazing, offering a delightful array of seafood dishes. We would like to underline chef Ahmed. The manager was also highly attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that guests felt welcome. The rooms were cleaned up on time every day, which made our stay even more comfortable.

“A wonderful end of our holidays”

We had a wonderful time Here. Before we came we have read some points of improvement but we found out the hotel took care of that. Better priced wines on the menu, food is wonderful and the wifi worked great. The true gem is the kind staff here. When I god sunburnt Salem was getting some fresh aloë Vera leaves so I could put the juice of it on my face and it worked perfectly. The room is beautiful decorated as well. There are some free activities as well as sailing and snorkeling. Also free bikes for hire.

Beautifully designed hotel right on a great stretch of beach which felt both private yet also incredibly accessible and easily connected to other areas and tourist attractions. Breakfast was a combination of buffet and a la carte options made fresh to order, and overall the breakfasts we ate were good with lots of options. Dinner was included in our package, and the food was really fantastic - lots of fresh fish and clearly high quality ingredients. Staff were very friendly and accommodating with every one of our requests - they were clearly invested in ensuring we had the best stay with them - the charming Italian manager made a point of stopping by our table each day to greet us and check in, which added to a lovely personal quality. Rooms are well designed - we particularly loved the second room we upgraded to which was huge, very private, and had stunning amenities including a large beautiful bathtub perfect for our honeymoon trip! The hotel has its own dhow boat which is an unmissable activity to do while staying at Alma. There are also great restaurants nearby that you can walk along the beach to for lunches. Overall we loved our stay here, and will certainly be recommending to others.
