“A voyage of discovery to Aladinpur: would I stay there again if visiting the area? Yes.”
The rural position worked both for and against the property. When the storms came, and the power all around went off, my son and I were isolated but the main house had a generator so we had basic power. That did cause some of the appliances to surge, when the power was restored and cause further electrical problems, but Retired Colonel Singh arranged for the voltage equaliser to be replaced, so all was good. We were supplied with a wi-fi dongle so had some connectivity which disappeared during the storms. The family’s willingness to supply us with basic shopping needs was admirable and most welcome. Overall, it was great value for money!
