Good property host are very talkative and helped us for arranging the desert safari as well must visit this open road hostel terrace is too good flexible checkin and checkout property is near to fort and from direct with hostel host we can book desert safari and enjoy the sand dunes adventure.Recommend for solo, families & couples.

Property is very good!! Just need to upgrade some furniture, awesome location and hospitality

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Whatever you need, they will assist you with it from booking a desert tour, to renting a motorcycle or just getting a tuktuk. They really put their hearts into running their business. They are in a prime location and the food is delicious. They arranged for an overnight desert safari which was an incredible experience. I highly recommend it.

I had an amazing stay at Open Road Hostel in Jaisalmer. The people here are truly great and very welcoming. The desert safari they organize is awesome and was one of the highlights of my trip. I had a great time and it was one of the best New Year celebrations I have ever had, with beautiful traditional music that made the night unforgettable. The traditional music was also part of the safari, which made the experience even more special. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Jaisalmer.

“Wonderful experience at Open Road hostel”

Recently booked my stay at Open Road hostel during my Jaisalmer solo trip. They also arranged a non touristic safari which was much much better than the usual one. Food, people, camel ride and born fire at unknown desert looking at stars was wonderful experience. Vivian and aparna owner of the hostel are really helpful. Highly recommended whoever is travelling to Jaisalmer.

I stayed at Open Road Hostel & Café in Jaisalmer and had a great experience! The location was perfect — close to everything but still peaceful. The staff were friendly and helped organise an overnight desert safari, which turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Sleeping under the stars in the dunes was an unforgettable experience. Definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Jaisalmer!

A gem of an hostel. Everything from location, architecture, to the hospitality of the owners, to the rooftop & food, was perfect. They helped me plan my trip around Rajasthan by sharing a lot of local insights, and their non-touristic safari in the Thar desert was very relaxing and I loved it. Amazing rooftop views looking up towards the Jaisalmer Fort and in the other direction looking over the town. Really cool couches and tables to chill on whilst admiring the view. The hosts were very friendly and had good knowledge of things to do and see in the area.

The place is great, location is great, the vibe of the hostel is really cool and the owners Vivian and Aparna are really friendly and lovely. Aside from going to great efforts to make me feel at home they also organised an overnight desert safari/camp which was beyond incredible.

Open road hostel is an excellent choice when in Jaisalmer. The hosts are very warm and welcoming, and they ensured excellent hospitality throughout my stay here. They also arranged an overnight desert safari which was the highlight of the trip. It is also at walkable distance to Jaisalmer fort and other attractions. “Amazing hospitality, amenities and location”

Lovely hostel/ hotel with fantastic facilities and atmosphere. Vivian and Aparna and their wee daughter were wonderful lovely hosts, along with the other staff. They were very accommodating, great to hang out and talk with and ready and willing to help with anything needed. There is a lovely terrace as well as rooftop and pool table for socialising which was added bonus. They also organise a top notch camel safari and sleep under the desert stars which has been a definite highlight of my India trip so far. Couldn't recommend highly enough

“Clean en attractive hostel with a great vision and vibe!”

Directly when we arrived we felt we leveled very well with the Amazing owners of open Road. They are in for lighthearted chats and deep conversations, and explain you more about the South and north indian culture. The rooftop is very chill (to see the sunset & fort) and the room looks cosy and clean! We also experienced the dessert tour and returned after since we liked it so much.
