Behaviour of Hosts

The most delightful hosts who go far out of their way to ensuring that their guests' visits are enjoyable, comfortable, and homey. They are probably the most gracious and congenial hosts that I have ever experienced during my travels in India (and I was an older female traveling alone). So, if you're looking for a conveniently located place to stay, whether in the form of a hotel room or a bunk bed in a hostel room, where you can feel welcome, relaxed and able to ask about (or for) just about anything related to your stay in Jaisalmer, I highly recommend Murad Haveli.

I booked for one night but found property very good so I stayed 4 more nights. Location is very near to all the tourist places. Fort is walk away, gadisar lake is also near by. Terrace view is the most I loved. Hasim bro (owner) is also very friendly and very helpful. They also provide private rooms and open desert safari (must do). I have shooted their videos. “The best stay ever !”

I have never experienced such kindness from a stranger. I was new to the city, and the host arranged for pickup, kept in touch with me, and made sure I had the best experience. I had the best food here. And OMG, the desert safari experience was beyond exceptional. The desert that Hasim Ji takes you is not commercialized. It's just you and your group there. You should definitely opt for the safari here.The beautiful sunset, camel ride, jeep safari, open star gazing under the sky. A night I'll always remember. I'm incredibly grateful for Hasim Ji and his team, Rahim Ji, Vikram singh Ji, and others. They took care of me like family only. Highly recommend the stay here and the desert safari. The view from the Rooftop is incredible.

Lovely place to stay. The hotel is full of character and the room was great. It has a wonderful rooftop terrace overlooking the fort where you can get food and drinks all day and in the evenings. Very friendly and helpful owner.

“All you need in Jaisalmer”

The stay was super. The staff is really kind and always there to help! The dorm was clean and the bed was confortable, definitely good value for money. They even drop me in the station with no extra cost. Highly recommended!

The decor of the room was very Rajasthani and beautiful.The rooms were clean.Ac n geyser were there.Staff goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable.Pick up and drop will be arranged. Great view of fort from rooftop.Indian food I had was good.

Rooms are nice and clean with working AC. Best part is chilling on the roof top with amazing view of the fort wall. Very good home made food. If you want beer they will bring it. Staff is very nice and will go extra mile for you. They also offer camel safari. Walking distance to the fort gate. Highly recomended.

“Small HAVELI hotel with excellent view.”

My room was absolutely incredible beautiful, just like the photos on Booking.com. Very comfortable mattresses, not the usual rock hard things. The staff is very friendly and also offered free pickup from the bus station. After my stay they dropped me off as well. Excellent WiFi everywhere. Location is superb, very close to everything. Superb view of the fort from the rooftop restaurant. The rooftop also had lots of power outlets. The room and the attached bathroom was spotless clean, EXCEPT for one very essential thing.

Everything was very good! Clean and big rooms, very good food, very nice and friendly owner and staff. They offer an amazing camel safari aswell! We can highly recommend this place.

Murad haveli is a clean and cozy place to stay longer in Jaisalmer. We booked 2 nights but only stayed 1. Since murad also organizes camel safaris, we decided at short notice to spend a night in the desert. The safari with Murad to lonely places is just as recommendable as the Haveli. We had a very good breakfast on the roof terrace and enjoyed the view of the fort. it is not far to the sights. Everything within walking distance. Thank you for the very chilled accommodation.

“Golden experience in the Golden fort city!”

The hosts were very kind and helpful and went out of their way to ensure our comfort.. few things that I want to highlight about them- 1. They are extremely kind. They booked us taxis from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer and back. when we got stuck in Jaisalmer due to shifting of the Holi date, they let us check out at 1400 p.m. 2. They took us on an amazing natural desert safari on a 1.5 hour camel ride where no other tourist was present.. in an undisturbed part of the desert.. the most exquisite experience! the camel ride ended with tea and dinner in the desert camp under the stars! 3. They cooked us fresh food from scratch every time we ordered anything to eat! the food was always delicious and home cooked! 4. Their rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of the fort and ambiance!

Even if i try it's hard to give review below 10. Hotel is well maintained, rooms are clean and looks very nice. Guys working there are great and always helpful. Location close to fort. Nice view from rooftop where you can eat cheap and tasty (and no spicy means really no spicy here 😄).
