“Beautiful, peaceful haveli in Jaisalmer”

Jasmin Haveli is a real find - beautifully decked out rooms, a great rooftop space for meals and a lovely courtyard space to sit in as well. The food was seriously delicious and the hotel cook is a delightful man. The owner, Jitendra, is also so welcoming and helpful. We loved Jaisalmer and Jasmin Haveli was part of that.

Loved our stay here walking distance to the fort and all that had to offer. In house food was excellent, staff wonderful, ambience beautiful. Room had everything we needed and was very comfortable, fans and quiet a/c. We felt like part of Jitendra, the owner’s, family. Outstanding walking tour with Raj and wonderful desert Safari with Fatd, not to forget Padam our very polite and safe driver. Very sad to leave!

Clean, spacious rooms and great atmosphere. Excellent service—the staff even helped us find local products to take home! Seamlessly organized transport and guides. Special mention to Jitender, who helped us a lot with all our requests.

I travelled with my family for new year, we stayed for 1 night on 30th. It's a haveli type of building. Room was good only but I felt it could have been bit more spacious. they do not have parking we have to manage parking elsewhere, food was very tasty, staff were good and even owner was very interactive. Bathroom was okay but taps water floating was thin.

The owner did a fantastic job with his warm and hospitable approach, ensuring every guest felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for. His attention to detail truly reflected exceptional hospitality and thoughtful treatment throughout.

Beautifully curated and appointed with local arts and textiles. Cleanliness was perfect. In house meals and dining authentic and tasty Rajasthani cooking. Owner/Manager went over and beyond expectations to look after us. We added an extra night as we enjoyed our stay. In house guide and taxi available. On the edge of town and quiet. I would come back to India just to stay here.

Staff/owner behavior and attitudes

Wow, I didn’t expect such quality of service! The owner welcomed us even though it was very early in the morning and was really kind and professional. He also helped us arrange an unforgettable private desert trip after we didn’t hear back from the one we had initially planned. Sleeping under the stars and enjoying a delicious meal, loved it! We even saw wild animals. Thank you so much for your hospitality, highly recommended!

“Wonderful boutique hotel with great owner and staff”

It’s outside of the old center and fort so it’s quieter which is the main reason I chose to stay, but there’s so many more reasons. It’s a beautiful place built as a modern take on a traditional house. The rooms a spacious and had everything I needed, and the food was clean and after a few days there the stomach problems I’d picked up in Delhi where pretty much gone. Jitendra, the owner is great. Super friendly and he helped to arrange a brilliant bespoke Thar desert tour that I thought came in at a very reasonable price. I would 100% stay again if I found myself in Jaisalmer

The property is very well maintained and has great ambience. They offered us tea on arrival and also during the checkout which was early in the morning. It is worth mentioning that the tea was great too. We also got a free upgrade to our room. we got scooty on hire from the nearby shop which was very convenient and at reasonable prices. We also saw there family/suite room which is quite spacious and has good vibes

Everything…. when we arrived at the train Station, the extensive works made the whole area a dusty mess and this extends out into the streets. The approach to the area of Jasmin is the same and we were thinking omg this is going to be tough ( we are well travelled in India ) but … The Jasmin is lovely …the staff waited up until 02:30am for us and showed us straight to beautifully decorated room with the all the lovely lighting set up and the room had been heated perfectly…they didn’t even ask us to check in …..just relax and have a good sleep. In the morning was no different, very relaxed check-in and breakfast was attentive and a perfect choice ( don’t be afraid to go room only and have a la carte breakfast its a good choice and very cheap, our total food bil for three breakfasts and one dinner and one lunch ( for two people ) was £34 The owner is very attentive and proud using family and friends for staff, also recommends a guide for the town heritage walk and he organises desert safari’s ( it’s not usually our thing but we did both and thoroughly enjoyed it. I get the comment someone made re bird droppings upstairs on the terrace but ignore this, it doesn’t spoil anything. If you’re on a budget don’t shy from the basic room, we had that without realising it was his cheapest room and it’s really nice. We looked at the others and all well priced and individual.

Rooms are decorated really tastefully. We were upgraded from the rooms we had booked to bigger rooms (newly built) and they were set around a nice seating area. Owner is also very helpful. Whilst the property is rated as a 2 star - in my view it is closer to a 4 star.

Rooms were good. Food was great. And the hotel staff were the best - extremely warm and helpful

beautiful hotel, not far from the center, top courtesy of the staff. Everything is perfect, from the colonial-style furnished rooms, to the perfect cleanliness, to the food served in the restaurant. Through the hotel you can go on a desert safari by sleeping one night. A nice experience.

When you stay there the owner takes care of you in a very friendly manner. You get advices, explanations about the place to visit and actually any help for your needs. We got also in a difficult situation because of a cancelled travel after our check out. Nevertheless the owner could help us amazingly and solved our case and so we could smoothly continue our tour in India. Thank you so much!
