Overview
Situated just a minute’s walk from Gandhi Chowk and a 5-minute walk from Jaisalmer Fort, this family-run guesthouse has just four cosy rooms. Free Wi-Fi and parking is provided. Gajanand Guest House is 1.5 km from Jaisalmer Bus Station and 3 km from Jaisalmer Railway Station. Jaisalmer Airport is 15 km away. Rooms are with Air Condition and some room cooled with a fan and the bathroom comes with shower facilities. Room service is provided. Guests can arrange to go on a desert safari at the tour desk, or head to the 24-hour front desk for assistance with luggage storage, laundry and car rental services.

“Amazing”
The owner was the nicest man! He was so helpful to us, he let us check in early after a night train and use the room free of charge for a shower after our desert safari even though we had checked out. His hospitality was amazing! We also booked the desert safari tour through this hostel and I could not recommend that enough. The room was clean, comfy with good air con and a warm shower. Also a very central location. But what really makes this guest house stand out is the family who run it. Thank you so much!

Gajanand Guest House is a hidden gem in Jaisalmer. Every time I visit this amazing city I stay at this quaint, wonderful home stay. Kamal and Bhavna welcome every guest as though they were family. You won’t find a more thoughtful, caring and honest man than Kamal. He’s the kind of guy you can go to for anything and will do his utmost to make your stay as memorable as possible. The location is very central and is within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants and shopping. Kamal is a wealth of information regarding local history and culture. He will gladly arrange for pick up from train or airport and knows all the local guides so can assist in organizing local tours and desert safari’s. The rooms are spotless, spacious, comfortable and very secure. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with hot water. I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing some of Bhavna’s home cooked meals and was blown away. Her food is incredibly delicious and would rival some better restaurants. You truly can’t ask for better hosts. Gajanand Guest House is the very best budget stay in Jaisalmer. You simply won’t find anything comparable for the price. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone traveling to Jaisalmer. Guaranteed you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Kamal and Bhavna 🥰.
