“A great night in Jaisalmer Fort”

Great location, great place to stay, beautiful views of the city from the fort. Jeet was very helpful for taking care of everything (water, luggage, meals, etc...). We were in the room at the top of the place.

My partner and I stayed in the King’s Room at Desert Haveli Guest House on New Year’s Eve and had the most magical experience. First and foremost, we must mention the exceptional hospitality of our friend Jeetu. He welcomed us with beautifully prepared chai, rich with ginger and spices, just as it should be. He showed us around the property, and we spent a wonderful afternoon on the guesthouse’s rooftop, which offers incredible views of both the outskirts and the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort. The absolute highlight of our stay was the chapati cooking class that Jeetu kindly hosted in the guesthouse kitchen. It won't cost much, but it is an absolute must do if you truly want to experience the warmth and generosity of this team. Watching the New Year’s fireworks from the rooftop is a memory we will cherish forever. Jeetu and the team also gave us fantastic recommendations for places to see, eat, and drink, so don’t hesitate to ask them depending on what you’re looking for. The property itself feels magical. The room makes you feel as though you’ve stepped into a place from your imagination, with gorgeous decorations, beautifully preserved architecture, and authentic details that you’ll fall in love with. The location was excellent for us. Staff went above and beyond to help. There were roadworks happening when we arrived and our driver couldn't work out how to get us there. So two staff walked to us and helped. We had a very early morning departure, and staff supplied us with an extensive and thoughtful packed breakfast and used a torch to help us navigate the street in the dark. We ate in each night as the food was tasty and served nicely. The banana bread was a particular favourite of mine.

Historic property in a great location. Amazing staff who went above and beyond to ensure my stay went well. They were all great and work unbelievably hard. It was a pleasure to get to know them. There are some great restaurants nearby as well.

The staff was really kind and extremely helpful. They gave recommendations and were really helpful with directions to the haveli and as well helped with transferring the luggage. Definitely wortg staying when in Jaisalmer.

The BEST place I stayed in my month in India, by far. The location is AMAZING being inside the fort, with amazing views to the south side of Jaisalmer. Very historical feeling, very heritage. The rooms were specious with very comfortable beds. There was a really nice window in my room where I was able to really relax and watch the world go by, feeling the warmth emanate through the fort walls. The rooftop area was stunning, beautiful views, great food. The staff were very friendly, and left you in peace when you needed some quiet time! The manager was very friendly and I had several chats with them on the rooftop too. I will DEFINITELY be back!!

Beautiful location on the edge of the fort with windows and rooftop dining looking out of the fort. Fantastic service from Vimal and team who consistently go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Food was amazing! We did city and desert tours and camel safari. Highly recommended!

Hotel location

Location is great and roof top view is amazingly good.

We had a wonderful stay at this 450-year-old haveli. The place is beautiful and full of character, and its location inside the fort makes it even more special. Everything around you feels steeped in history. What truly stood out was the person managing the haveli. Jeetu was warm, kind, and incredibly helpful, and made us feel more like family than guests. You don’t often come across people who make you feel so genuinely at home, especially during such a busy time of the year. Even with the rush, we were always looked after. It was a memorable stay and one we would happily recommend. Thank you Jeetu Bhaiya for your wonderful hospitality.

“Great stay inside fort in a heritage stay”

A Heritage stay on top of the fort with great city view from the terrace. It has got sunrise and sunset views right from the top. It was an amazing experience. Caretaker Jeetu ji was a great person and very interactive on history topics. This made our stay more welcomed and pleasant.

Had a wonderful stay at Desert Haveli Guest House in Jaisalmer with my family. Vimal Bhai and his staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. The property was neat and clean, and offered excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend
