Nestled in the peaceful countryside at the edge of Jaipur city the eco-friendly boutique heritage Savista Retreat is housed in a grand private mansion. It boasts an outdoor pool, sun terrace and a wellness centre with yoga lessons. The boutique Savista Retreat is about 22 km from Jaipur Airport and 45 km from Amber Fort. Guests who drive enjoy free parking privileges. Decorated in soothing shades of red, yellow and green, the air-conditioned guestrooms at Savista feature handcrafted furnishings and private balconies. Guests may take part in guided cross-country hikes, birdwatching and camel cart rides through the surrounding villages. Activities like hand block printing workshops, biking, yoga and cooking lessons can also be taken. For leisure, Savista Retreat also provides table tennis, a film viewing theatre and a quiet library. Using organically grown local ingredients, the hotel's restaurant serves North and South Indian dishes in a simple, home-cooked style. Other dining options include al fresco breakfast served in the gardens, snacks by the pool or drinks at the bar.

Savista is every bit as beautiful and tranquil as the photos suggest. The home cooked meals were full of dishes unlike anything we had anywhere else in India, and often featured home grown produce, including butter, milk and yogurt from their own cow. What the photos won't tell you is that Savista is owned and managed by a husband and wife team who are some of the most warm, gentle and charming people you will ever have the good fortune to meet.

“Hardly been to a better place”
It is a wonderfully located, calm and peaceful palace about 40 minutes away from Jaipur. The family that is running the Hotel is simply wonderful. They are treating their guests like kings and are fulfilling every single wish. I spent only 2 nights there over a weekend and was happy that I chose the place over a centrally located hotel as the peacefulness there was a great change to the noise in the city.

“The perfect escape from the City”
The seclusion, after a very busy week in Jaipur, this was perfect. The location is beautiful and so quiet, and the food was amazing, all organic and gown right there at the retreat.
