When I reached Jaipur, I had absolutely no idea about the hostel I had booked. I was completely blank and nervous. When I arrived at Ghat Gate Street to check in at Ali Baba Hostel, the host, Junaid brother, personally came and took me to the room I had booked. From that moment itself, something felt right. The calmness and pleasant feeling inside the building instantly made me feel like I was at home. The biggest plus of this hostel is that the owner and his family also live there. That makes all the difference. It never felt like a commercial hostel it truly felt like a family home. Ammi’s food is a gem. The very first food I ate in Jaipur was cooked by her, and it was unforgettable. She made kofta, fish curry, aaloo paratha, and chicken for me each dish was on another level. You can feel the love in the food, not just the taste. The father is equally kind and always makes you feel comfortable and happy. The two brothers are extremely helpful and treated me like their own brother. I stayed here for more than 14 days, and not even for a single day did it feel like a hostel. When I arrived in Jaipur, I didn’t know a single person. But when I checked out after completing my stay at Ali Baba Hostel, I left with something priceless a family in Jaipur with truly pure hearts. I will always be grateful for this place and the people. Highly recommended for anyone looking for more than just a stay this is a home.

Large spacious room with a good bathroom only 20 minute walk from the Palace of Winds. The family were very warm and welcoming and lovely to chat to and let us have a late checkout so that we could wait there until we needed to catch our train. They helped us with everything we needed and it was very reasonably priced !

This hostel is run by the most lovely family. For a solo traveller I felt so welcomed, taken care of and made to feel welcome and at home. They couldn’t be more helpful. Going above and beyond when I was sick one day. I had the room on the roof, right onto the terrace and with own bathroom. Very relaxed, safe and overall just a lovely within budget place to stay.

“EXCELLENT HOSTEL IN JAIPUR”

My stay at this hostel was truly wonderful. They are a generous family and help you with absolutely everything. The mother makes a delicious breakfast and is like your own mother, attentive to every detail. I requested laundry service and my clothes smelled wonderful. I felt right at home. Everything was clean: the bed, the sheets, the bathroom; there was toilet paper and hot water. I had no trouble sleeping. The hostel is within easy walking distance of Jaipur Palace and the Hawa Mahal. I would definitely return

I highly recommend this place in Jaipur. The location is perfect for visiting monuments and other sites in Jaipur, as it's quite central. And above all, the family there is lovely; you're immediately greeted with a smile, and there's a wonderful energy in the place. They truly demonstrate excellent service, all delivered with a cheerful atmosphere. Thank you so much for these four days.

A very pleasant stay with a lovely family. I slept very good in their room and got lots of tips and help from the family. The mom also prepared an amazing dinner for me one night, very recommended. Breakfast was also very tasty

Guys and their father were really helpful and generous! Room was clean and cosy. Apartment is in alley and not at the main road so there was a quite also.

“A place to feel at home”

In this Homestay you will definitely feel like you’ve arrived home. The host family treated me like I was part of their family and that was amazing, they were always taking care of me and the food was incredible every time. The Homestay is really well located, like 15 minutes walk from the city centre and the main things to see in Jaipur. The rooms are pretty and toiletries are provided. There is a nice rooftop full of plants, and excellent place to relax when it’s not raining.

Amazing location, very very clean (European standards), nice food and great family. It was the best place during our time in India! Location right in the city centre, many tourist attractions in a walkable distance. Even though, the location is in the centre, it is in a quite street. The room was very big and very clean. Bathroom was clean and the shower worked great (hot water was amazing!) bed was clean as well. We arrived late to the train station and they waited for us and pick up us from the train station. The communication was excellent before and during our stay. The family cared a lot about us and made us feel like at home. The check in was done fast, and they explained to us everything we need to know to enjoy Jaipur and also answered all our questions. The owner gave us really great advices to make the most of our time in Jaipur. Breakfast was delicious!! Food was in very good conditions (we felt great after eating it). Wifi was great. The whole family take very good care of their hosts and we could feel it from the very first moment. After check out, they offered us a spare room to rest before going to the train station. It was really nice detail. We were very thankful for it. We really appreciated how the family cared for us and all the details they had to make us feel welcome. It was the best place during our time in India!!! Recommended 100%!!!

The family is absolutely awesome.. they make you feel at home, the breakfast is made with love, its enough and delicious, the location is very close to the centre and main attractions, maybe 15 minutes by walking. The place is clean and cosy.
