Very central hotel. Lovely swimming pool. Bed was comfortable and the room big and cool, though somewhat tired in the decor. The new shower was the best so far in Sri Lanka - proper pressure and warm to boot!! The breakfasts were lovely - buffet style, hot and tasty. There was a lot of shouting going on in the kitchen which made for a very funny Fawlty Towers breakfast - everytime the waitress came out she was as cool as a cucumber, but when she went back, merry hell would break out!!!!!

“they seem to of invested their money in the frontage but the room was very dirty. no refund for lack of pool or charging”
very dirty. the main reason for booking was for the pool that was out of action. breakfast was meant to be included in the price but they charged me for it. the price they charge does not reflect the service received.. I have been travelling Sri Lanka for 3 months and this was by far the poorest hotel and the price I paid was much too expensive. Jaffna is a beautiful place and people should visit but do not stay here. Very poor standard!

Fantastic location right next to Fort/Lagoon and in main City. Everything within short walking distance.. Very peaceful and quiet. Bar & restaurant on site. Wonderful staff. Infact, the most welcoming and friendliest staff I have met during many hotel visits.. Very attentive and go the extra mile to deliver excellent/quality customer service. A big Thankyou to Tilko for making our stay a memorable one.. I will certainly be back. 👍
