Everything was perfect we were very satisfied with our stay. The housekeeper was very friendly, listened to our wishes and also gave us helpful tips about the surroundings. The room and bathroom were very clean, and all beds had mosquito nets so we had no mosquitoes at all. The air conditioning worked well. The indoor pool was beautiful and very refreshing. The food was good, and for breakfast we could freely choose what we wanted. They even made tea for us early in the morning because we had to leave at 6:00 a very kind gesture. Parking was also available. I can highly recommend this place and would definitely come again.

Every space was maintained to the highest standard, and you can tell the hosts take great pride in the upkeep. It was peaceful, private, and the perfect escape from busy life. Everything we needed was provided, and the experience felt seamless from start to finish. We genuinely wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you to Vijay and Mathusan for looking after us! “Absolutely Wonderful!”

We had the best time possible. We stayed there as a family, youngest 3 and oldest 78. The house was immaculate. Mix of amenities for all the ages in our group. Child safety features such as shutters for the first floor mezzanine area and keys to lock the rooms from the inside. Also the lift was great feature for the older members who couldn’t climb stairs. Last but not least is our host, Vijay, who took care of our every need from making sure that the pool was always available for our children, to ensuring the breakfast is set out ready for our busy mornings. Five star experience, wonderful! Will definitely book on our next visit to Jaffna.

Our stay at The Mango Nest in Jaffna was truly unforgettable, and thanks to our incredible house keeper Vijay. His hospitality went above and beyond our expectations. Vijay was a courteous and generous from the moment we arrived. He not only ensured the property was impeccably maintained, but his local knowledge was invaluable. He provided excellent recommendations that helped us explore the best of Jaffna. What we are most grateful for is his kind assistance with our toddlers. Having an extra helping hand made our trip so much more relaxing and allowed us to fully enjoy the beautiful property. The Mango Nest is a stunning villa, and Vijay's warm and welcoming nature made it feel like a home away from home. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Jaffna. “Wish we could stay longer.”

This is a beautiful home with a Moroccan feel. The rooms are large and the beds comfortable. Bathrooms nice with great water pressure. VJ welcomed us with a drink and in the morning prepared a beautiful western breakfast. A first time experience and he did it very well.

Loved staying here. Madhusan and Vijay were very accomodating and helped us settle in. The property is beautifully furnished and (probably) architecturally designed. A great option for a group in Jaffna.

Stylish house with inside pool. Great for group visit to Jaffna. Breakfast were amazing. And the house manager Vidusha was really helpful and attentive. Good location and easy parking outside.

The property is superbly put together. The lay out is really lovely with all the bedrooms ensuite and it is the first time that in our travel in Srilanka that we found a property with a lift, it is very convenient for elderly people. It was really confortable.

Helpful property manager (Mathushan) who was always around and willing to assist. Fantastic Jaffna breakfast served when ordered the night before. Clean indoor swimming pool (though not very deep) to help relieve from the Jaffna sun. Great rooms and bathroom. Interesting local art/photos on the walls as well.

Beautiful colonial building, spacious and welcoming. Exactly like the photos. Has an elevator available for older guests or those with mobility difficulties or heavy luggage. Plenty of living space on ground floor and 1st floor with sofa and chairs and dining table. The beds were large and comfortable and the linen very soft. The aircon worked very well in every bedroom as did the fans. Hot water was available in the showers. Every bedroom had its own bathroom ensuite. Two bathrooms were open to the outdoors at one end which kept them cool. The concrete floor was quite slippy, so indoor flip flops were needed. The plunge pool is a lovely addition, although we didnt end up using it because the male housekeeper was always present downstairs. Would I stay here again? Yes, but only if the two rooms furthest from the stairs had mosquito nets (easy to do on the four poster bed, harder on the twin beds) if this were put in place the whole stay would have been much more pleasant. It is a beautiful house in a convenient location for most tourism sites and centre of Jaffna, and there was plenty of space for time spent together in the house. We had a good stay overall.
