They did everything to make their stay comfortable by providing delicious home cooked meals to assisting them with their luggages to the bus stand. Lovely base to explore Jaffna, we recommend the breakfast and dinner: very tasty and excellent value. We adored the doggy’s and the host was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed.

“A wonderful homestay in Jaffna”

Kajan, his wife and son are fantastic hosts who enabled us to have such a rich experience. We really enjoyed sitting up with them and discussing our shared Sri Lankan heritage and recent developments since the war ended. It was a joy to interact with the hosts, when a lot of bookings have become an automated sterile process. We were a family group of 4 and the 3 bedroomed self-contained apartment worked so well for us, spacious yet homely and air-conditioned. The large balcony is beautiful. We enjoyed three very tasty Sri Lankan evening meals (esp.recomend the crab curry) which was so relaxing after our long days out. Kajan helped us book a local taxi for the day to Casarina beach and beyond and the next day just used local buses and tuk tuks in and out of town

“Excellent Hospitality”

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this lovely and friendly homestay. The place offers great privacy while still feeling welcoming and comfortable. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned, and well-maintained. We truly appreciated the early check-in at no extra cost. The hospitality was exceptional — warm, genuine, and attentive. We requested both breakfast and dinner, and the meals were fresh, delicious, and very reasonably priced. The location is also convenient, just a short tuk-tuk ride (AUD 2–3 each way) from Jaffna town. Overall, it’s an excellent stay — great value for money, cozy atmosphere, and wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!

“Lovely place with delicious meals”

We had a great time at this place. We booked two rooms for four of us and the entire 1st level was given to us. It had two rooms (3rd one we didn’t need), a spacious hall and a large balcony area. The place had all the basic essential amenities that is needed. Entire place was clean and clutter free and a modern bathroom with a heater (although we didn’t really need it as the weather was warm). The host Gajan was very friendly, helpful and very good at what he is doing. Always trying his best to make our stay is comfortable. And the best part of our stay was the food. Very delicious home cooked meals served at very affordable price. These days a lot of restaurants in Jaffna are heavily westernised and If you are after an authentic Jaffna meals, this is the right place. Homestay provides laundry services as well, so that you don’t have to worry about running out of cloths even in the warm weather. Definitely we will stay there again.

Beautiful big appartement with fridge. The balcony is so beautiful! Sitting there and see the real Srilankaan lifestyle ! Cows were picked up by the owners beautiful to see! It’s a 7 minute drive from the centre ( tuktuk 300lkr) but what made this place so special is the owners! The food is finger licking so delicious! We got a lot of information about things we could see in beautiful Jaffna! We definitely stayed again here!
