Had a lovely stay at Old Park Villa. The ambience was warm and welcoming, and the overall experience was very pleasant. The host was extremely accommodative and made sure we were comfortable throughout. Be sure to say hi to Nira, the friendly Labrador who adds a special charm to the place! The villa is centrally located—just minutes away from some great spots in town. Would definitely recommend it for a cozy and convenient stay.

“Comfortable Haven in Jaffna”
The ambience of this small heritage hotel and the very helpful management and staff were wonderful. The manager even helped us to get to a hospital for some medical assistance. He spent a good couple of hours with us to approach the right expert. Rooms were cleaned every day and sheets changed whenever required. The closeness of the town, the bus stand and the railway station made it very convenient to get around. Some nice eating places were also close by. Jaffna and the hospitality and friendliness of the people will be remembered. So will be the comfortable five-night stay in Old Park Villa.

Jaffna is struggling to recover from the Civil war, the economic crisis and Covid, The hotel is trying to catch up, but it is struggling. I would recommend staying here, but do not expect an updated hotel. The staff were kind and helpful. We were happy we travelled to Jaffna, and we hope tourism increases to help support the economy..

“Lovely old villa”
Grand old building that harks back to the colonial era, with the most friendly and welcoming hosts. Quiet, despite being close to the road, and set in an established garden. A really lovely ambience with chairs on the verandah and heirlooms in the cabinets. Does show its age in some places, but very comfortable large room and sparkingly clean.

This is a lovely family run hotel. The owner and all the staff were very friendly and helpful with organising transport etc. and the food was excellent. We had a lovely stay here.

Gem of a property. excellent staff and close to all facilities. suitable for small groups and families. staff made sure all our needs were met and we’re very attentive. I had few elderly family members in this trip and they looked after us with great care. the breakfast was to really great and authentic we could order the day before what we needed.

In a nutshell its a beautiful traditional house and very large comfortable rooms. Very clean and staff is super friendly. I ate several places in Jaffna but the food they gave for breakfast is amazing, very tasty and 100% Jaffna style. I would recommend to anyone without any hesitation.
