“Best place in Jaffna!”

I stayed here for 4 nights but honestly I wish I could have stayed much longer. The location is perfect, very close to the Nallur Temple which is one of the most important places to visit in Jaffna. My room had air conditioning, was very clean, and the accommodation itself was really good. But what truly made this experience unforgettable for me was Sshanu, the wonderful human being who works there. She spent so much time talking with me, explaining Tamil culture, traditions, daily life, and helping me understand Jaffna beyond what a tourist normally sees. She was not simply someone working there — she became a genuine point of reference for me during my stay. Thanks to her, I didn’t just visit Jaffna, I felt welcomed into it. The conversations we had, the patience she had with me and the care she showed made this stay deeply meaningful on a human level. I am truly grateful to her for everything she did for me. I will remember her kindness for a very long time. Thank you, Sshanu, for making my time in Jaffna so special!

OK location, ceiling fan and air-conditioning in the room, common areas to sit, secure parking, some kitchen stuff to use like a kettle, gass cooker, and a microwave.

Familie is sleeping in the hallway. You have to pass them to the bathroom. Uncomfortable bed. Bad air exchange due to window into another room.

“A cosy and convenient family stay in Jaffna”

This was such a nice & homely stay for me in Jaffna. The property is run by the most hospitable and friendly family who always go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Shanuja on reception was super helpful and speaks great English. She gave me lots of really useful recommendations for what to see in Jaffna and where to eat. The building is also a 5 minute walk away from the Nallur Kandaswamy Devasthanam temple which I visited a few times. Breakfast each morning is very tasty Sri Lankan curry and the rooms were simple but clean and cosy. I ended up staying for 3 nights here because it was so good!
