“Best place to stay in Jaffna”
One of the best hotels I’ve visited. It’s not about the luxuries but the whole atmosphere was amazing. The food (Jaffna cuisine) was amazing and the whole place had a great vibe. As a former art student, I enjoyed the art gallery and it was a highlight of the property.

“Wedding photo shooting crews detracted from stay with irritating early morning noise.”
The hotel is as described and our Heritage room was lovely with a good bed and great a/c which you need, but the room location used as a back drop for wedding couples photography. Very clean property that has well maintained gardens, a decent pool area and a good on site restaurant. All the staff were a delight to deal with. Despite our Heritage hotel room being near a busy road other than the internal noise is was very quiet. Do book your Heritage room early as they get booked up and perhaps you may need make up to appear as an extra in this popular wedding shoot location.

“Wonderful stay”
Conveniently located in the middle of the town but soon as you step in to the hotel grounds it doesn’t even feel like you are in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a city. Rooms were spotless clean. Linens and towels changed everyday. Tea stations and water filled and ready every morning. Hats off to the housekeeping staff for a highly professional service. Restaurant staff was truly helpful. We traveled as a big group of 15 family members. The staff offered us to set up a big breakfast table to accommodate the whole family. They went out of their way to move tables around and set up the tables so we all can enjoy the meal as a family.

“The perfect combination of heritage, hospitality and a peaceful atmosphere”
It is a beautiful well kept heritage complex. Well designed and adapted to its new use. With a history to tell. As Sri Lanka’s in general, the staff is extremely welcoming, hospitality at its best. Always with a smile and a “yes” attitude. Food is also very good. Gardens beautiful and you can also learn part of Jaffna history in one of the bunkers. They have two. The other one is an art gallery.

Absolutely loved the experience. The rooms were impeccable—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The staff were truly outstanding; every member of the team was attentive, welcoming, and eager to assist. The reception staff, in particular, were exceptional. They went above and beyond to help us organize a day tour at a very reasonable price, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was another highlight. We were treated to authentic Sri Lankan cuisine that was both flavorful and memorable. A special mention to Scoty, who ensured that every guest felt well taken care of and satisfied with their dining experience. Overall, a wonderful stay—highly recommended.

“Beautiful hotel”
The hotel is beautiful, food is excellent and the staff are all lovely. It was good to see such happy interactions between the staff. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic and so easy to use with push buttons for each shower head. The swimming pool was most of the time very relaxing. We were given a free late check out time which we were very grateful for.
