Setting was very beautiful. The snow and the rain they had was a downer, but of course not their fault. But paths were well cleared. We knew about this place as we stayed there previously The owner is very nice. Made a very good meal and breakfast provided. Firewood for wood stove chopped and stocked for use.

“Extraordinary stay”

Everything! This place is magical. The history behind this cabin (read the book!) and the surroundings are truly magical. You can go kayaking, fishing, hiking or you can explore the surroundings with the car. The host is extremely friendly and helpful with local knowledge, tasty meals that are freshly made and we had the opportunity to take the canoe up on the lake and try our luck with some fishing (sorry again for the fishing pole 🎣). We even took a bath in the hot tub down by the water. It's incredible and the stay felt like a retreat for the soul. Couldn't recommend it enough! Thank you so much again and hope to see you again one day :)

Loved the cabin, privacy, the old school charm of a fire place. It was nice and clean. The fish stew with fresh garden salad was delicious. I was very happy that there was no cell service during the stay. I could just enjoy this amazing accommodation without distractions. Would highly recommend.

This cabin was an absolute dream, nestled in the heart of the woods right by the beautiful Vines Lake. Kristy was a discreet yet wonderfully warm host — she cooked a delicious meal waiting for us upon arrival, and the cabin was stocked with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and cozy stay. We truly loved both the home and its stunning surroundings. We hope to come back someday!

This place is heaven on earth. Kristy is the best host you will ever find. She made and brought delicious home made fresh meals every night. There was home made bread and the fridge was filled with delicious products. The cabin has everything you need plus much more. Name it and it's there. The location is absolutely stunning, only sounds you will hear are birds and squirrels. i enjoyed my 2 days at the fullest, I hope to go back there again. Thanks for everything Kristy and puppy Wilma.

Everything! Diner ready when we arrived, even with home made excellent bread. Very clean and excellent decoration. Probably the best place we stayed in.

“A bit of heaven... but careful...”

Just about everything. A bit of rustic heaven! As Kristy prepares dinner for you, make sure she has asked you about any dietary restrictions, to avoid not being able to eat her meal. There is no other source of food! There is only one cabin and one luxury tent here, so privacy is supreme.

Vines and Puppies is brilliantly located when we're driving to or from Whitehorse and is the best possible last or first night out. Having a warm meal awaiting our arrival, the welcome for our dog, the comfortable bed - we love staying here and look forward to visiting again.

“Quiet stay during our road trip”

Our host met us on arrival and had dinner in the oven already. She explained the features of the property and then gave us privacy. The food was tasty (and she catered to our vegetarian diet) and the cabin was the perfect size for us. The views by the lakeside were stunning.

I love the warm welcome we (my dog and I) were given after a long day driving. The home is impeccable and in a stunningly beautiful location. I am looking forward to our next visit and am seriously considering booking for a week.
