Overview
If you are looking for a combination between nature and the warmth of the beach, in short, the Tropical Garden Hotel is for you. In our facilities you will find beautiful green areas that are home to varied native fauna and flora, including different species of butterflies, iguanas and birds. We are located in the heart of Jaco, just a few steps from the beach, close to the capital, since it can be accessed in less than 2 hours by vehicle, the perfect plan for a weekend getaway week. Among the hotel services is a large outdoor pool, ranch for BBQ, Free WiFi, private entrance to the beach, free parking and 24/7 security. The Apartments include: complete bathroom, an equipped kitchen and a dining room. In addition, it has hot water, Smart TV, cable TV, ceiling fan and air conditioning. The beds in the apartments are of the type "trundle bed," therefore they are considered as 2 beds: the one on top and the one that can be pulled out from the side. “Great hideaway, well-priced gem in heart of Jaco”
I've been to Jaco twice now and never saw this hotel, mainly because it's in an alleyway that is easy to miss if you don't pay attention. I'm VERY HAPPY to have stayed there! This hotel is rather simple, in that there are no "luxury" amenities like infinity pools, bar pool, exotic gardens, etc. but that's what makes it so special. You get good-sized rooms (bungalow style), each a unit in itself, with a small kitchen with big fridge and bar-like seating counter. Bathroom could be a bit bigger, but shower is plenty big. Plenty of windows and AC works fine. TV was present but I never turned it on. Nice sitting area in front with rattan chairs and table. Pool was small but nice to take a dip in, and the garden area around the complex was relaxing and gave a peaceful ambience to the property, especially when you consider that it lies in the heart of bustling Jaco! Finally, the price paid for the location was excellent. The beach is only a two minute walk from the hotel, maximum. Jaco's main strip is half a block away, so position is exceptional. Overall, I'll be looking for Tropical Garden Hotel when I return to Jaco. Without hesitation.

“Fab little oasis in Jaco!”
Great location! Very comfortable bed and pillows and the apartment had everything we needed! The gardens and pool are beautiful and well maintained with lots of wildlife to watch. We've had wonderful stay thank you 😊x

“Wonderful”
Our basic room is large and well equipped with bar fridge and cook top, dishes, coffee maker. Room looks beautiful, pool area is pretty and large with lots of loungers. A forest with mature trees. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will return.

The perfect location in the middle of Jaco. Could walk everywhere from there. Loved the gardens and the pool was beautiful.

A liittle paradise in the center of Jacó. Such a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere! Very well maintained and beautiful garden with butterflies, iguanas, squirrels. You can hear both, the ocean which is just a few meters away and the birds in the trees around you. The little apartment was modern and very clean. TV and AC worked perfectly. The pool was also very clean and quite nice to swim in. Plenty of space around it or in the garden to enjoy. Private entrance to Jaco beach only a few meters to the main street with all these restaurants, shops and cafes etc (but incredibly quiet!) friendly staff

“Nice Stay But Not Value For Money”
A well-appointed spacious chalet with a fully equipped kitchen. Chalet is renovated and everything is new and have direct access to the beach. Location is great with a short walk to the main road, restaurants and supermarkets.

“Convenient location with pool, overall rather basic but functional”
Convenient location in walking distance to the beach, nice garden and large pool. The rooms are studios with a kitchenette and fridge. The main street is just a few steps away with all the restaurants and cafés. Our room was clean, there was an extra bed for the kids that you could pull out so the family could stay in one studio.

“Nice situated but not worth the money”
The equipment in the kitchen was no good. Missing plates, wineglasses. The electric outlet in one bedroom didn’t work.
