What an amazing restoration of this building! The bed was so comfortable a passing typhoon did not wake me. Very responsive hosts when I was having difficulties due to travel sleep deprivation.

Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, the guesthouse felt authentic. Very easy to find using public transport from Kansai airport. Hosts very responsive and everything very well set up and clean. Enjoyed my room with a balcony! Very nice to have teapot and cups and utensils in the room 😊

I really enjoyed staing there, the room was comftorble, I had places I could eat at not far from my stay and the couple renting out were really nice, I am definitly booking here again if I come back to japan

The couple was very welcoming and kind. It was a really nice experience staying in a more traditional house, from the decor to the mattress, flooring, and bathroom — all of that combined with comfort. The location is also convenient for going to Kansai Airport, so I recommend it to anyone looking for a place near Kansai Airport.

We stayed here for one night after landing in Osaka. We were warmly welcomed by the host and the calm and quiet atmosphere of the house allowed us to recover from the long journey.

I loved the Japanese style house, looks just like from movies/Tv-shows I've seen. Bedroom had good air-condition with lots of space. The location is only about 8min walk from the train station and has a few resturants nearby you can eat at😋

Bighem Maison it's a truly amazing accommodation with a super hospitable owner. The rooms are big for Japanese standard and very well equipped. Too sad we only had one night here, thanks a lot

“Lovely first night in Osaka.”

It is close to the Tsuruhara Station, where one can get access to the Nankai lines pretty fast. There is a coffee shop near the house, which serves sandwiches as well. The hosts are nice to lend me a bike to wander around.

The owners are so sweet and friendly, it made us feel totally at home. The beautiful, Japanese style room with comfortable futon beds was the perfect start for our bikepacking trip in Japan. The owners allowed us to unpack and setup our bicycles while letting us use the facilities after check-out time, until we were ready to go. They were very interested in our upcoming bikepacking trip and were able to give us some nice tips and even helped us by inflating our tires with their electrical pump. We can recommend all bikers to use this hotel for your first-, final- and/or reststop.
