“We had a great one night stay and the buffet was amazing! The staff were welcoming and although we spoke little Japanese”
I loved the tranquility and area surrounding the location. The property itself has its own unique character and suits the aesthetic well. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. They noticed we checked out a day earlier and we were late to breakfast, but allowed us to still serve and eat something which was really nice.

“Perfect Location!”
The location is awesome! Being in the 🛁 bath tub of the private onsen room, with the sound of the waterfall soothing me, with the backdrop of the beginning of the Fall season colored leaves, was awesome!

“Great staycation but had to withstand the mouldy smell”
Location is in the heart of Izu, the place well known for onsen. So I guess it’s acceptable to be slightly rural. Great facilities - private onsen in room, free cute Yukata provided. The food is wonderful, we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Great views, right beside the river.

“A nice hotel for a short weekend stay or stop during a roadtrip.”
The personal onsen on the terrace was super enjoyable, though the view was blocked by the wooden railing, which took away the magical view while enjoying the onsen. If you like being surrounded by nature but still crave the comfort of a room and bed, then this place will definitely itch that scratch for you.
