“A hidden gem with fantastic food!”

Lovely peaceful location with fabulous pool. This was our second visit and we opted to have dinner which was absolutely delicious and to be highly recommended. There is no set menu, just 3 courses that come as a surprise but the chef did kindly agree to provide a vegetarian option which was excellent. The owners have lived in the area for over 20 years so have a great knowledge of the local area.

“A perfect place to stay for a few days or a week or two.”

A beautiful and quiet spot which far exceeded our expectations. Lovely nooks and crannies to sit in outside (though we didn’t get a chance because of inclement weather) and scrupulously clean en suite rooms with really comfy beds, air con and heating (the latter of which we shouldn’t have needed in late April but did) We ate in and I’m so glad we did. Excellent food - beautifully cooked and a real sense of Bon homie around the place with many returning guests. Wine extremely reasonable and the kind of g&t that I can only describe as ‘one you might make at home’ 😉 We will definitely be back and we will be bringing friends. Thanks for having us! “Beautiful location, scenic views”

Lovely welcome, spacious, comfortable and super clean room. Nice buffet style breakfast and option for evening dinner which we sadly arrived too late for but would definitely opt for if visiting again.

Tranquil setting amongst the olive groves. Very relaxing setting with many beautiful sitting spots. The room was very comfortable and more spacious than anticipated. We enjoyed a delicious dinner there. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

The hosts and staff - the team were very welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful, the food, the company, the room/suite, the grounds and pool and the location was great for visiting Córdoba, Antequera, Málaga and Granada.

“Absolutely fantastic traditional x”

Absolutely fantastic- we stumbled across this traditional accommodation whilst on our journey to Southern Spain . We received a warm welcome and then continued to enjoy our visit - the surroundings were beautiful , the room was clean , traditional and comfy. The views were fabulous - in the middle of olive orchards. The food on offer to guests was 5 Stars - Absolutely delicious - evening meal and breakfast. Thank you Patrick . The setting, the peace and quiet, the breakfast, the staff, the relaxing vibe of treating the place like your home. Dinner one evening was served to us as if we had our own in-home, personalised dining service. The personal attention and friendliness of Bernadette is very special. Only very small issue is that anything else is a small drive away. Iznajar is around 10-15 mins drive, not far at all, but if you like to walk to other places to eat then this isn't really possible, but of course this is also part of the beauty of the property, whihc is why I am not saying we didn't like this aspect of it!

AMAZING! What a charming little hidden gem with beautiful mountain views. We loved everything about our stay and we can't praise the place enough. We stayed out of season so we didn't get to appreciate La Haza in its full wonder so we look forward to returning in the summer. Bernadette and Patreik were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. They truly looked after us during our stay. We had breakfast and evening meal both days of our stay and the food was sensational and cooked to perfection. Patreik is a truly FANTASTIC chef and everything he cooks is just delicious and the local white wine is fabulous, plus we had the added bonus of Patreik's blues music playing from the kitchen. Honestly, we can't express what a wonderful place La Haza is and we look forward to returning later in the year. Thanks again to Bernadette and Patreik.

“A fantastic find - we'll be back”

I don't think we can praise this establishment enough, our stay was absolute bliss. Fantastic hidden away location takes you away from all worldly stresses, the owners are very kind and attentive and the evening meal is out of this world. The breakfast spread taken on the secluded patio is the best we've ever seen and the infinity pool with stunning view needs to be seen to be believed. Although it's off the beaten track there is still plenty to do in the locality with local pubs and restaurants a short drive away, lovely Andalucian towns to experience and horse riding at a nearby equestrian centre. Beds very comfortable and really good air con in the bedroom - and three lovely well behaved cats.
