Kom El Dikka Agri lodge is a 30-year old privately owned Olive farm, which has been developed into an Agri-tourism lodge. Overlooking Lake Qarun, this property occupies a beachfront location. The property is beautiful. Lots of room to be around nature, right beside Qarun lake, with their own private shore. There are cute gardens lined along all the walkways within the resort with different produce being grown. A very pleasant environment to be in. Loads of activities on offer for visitors like pottery making, bread making, petting zoo, etc. The room was super spacious, greatly decorated with local design and motifs.

“Favourite place in Egypt”
The beautiful peaceful grounds were a lovely respite from busy Cairo. The room we had in Lavender Lodge was really comfortable and we were impressed how naturally cool the domes were in the heat of the day. Clean and well appointed room. As a chef myself I was excited and impressed with the excellent a la carte lunches and dinners we had using their own organically grown vegetables and local produce, the moussaka tagine, moumbar, stuffed pigeon and duck were stand out, we also loved all their vegetable dishes and alexandrian liver. We also had an amazing time learning to make the aish baladi and feteer with the wonderful women that were making all the breads fresh for the restaurant. They were very skilled and we really enjoyed meeting them. Tunis village was wonderful and everyone we met were passionate and proud of their town. Shout out also to Ibrahim for his kindness and adaptability organising activities for us during Ramadan, and to Abdul Raman for his knowledge and passion for the property.

Lovely place, helpful and friendly staff. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable with fun activities. We spent a great morning out in the desert by jeep visiting fossilized whales, rode horses, made clay pots, made bread and swam. The food is simple, fresh and local.
