Made a stop on the way from and to grutas Tolentongo. Located very close to the bus stations and in a waking distance from the centre of town and the market. The room was simple but very clean, with comfortable bed and cushions. The lady at the front desk was very nice, gave us extra blankets and helped us get a taxi. We were worried about the noise at night because it is on a major road but we asked for a remote room and slept very well. Overall good value for money.

Great location. Right next to the bus stop next to the gas station, but the night bus I took from Mexico City did not stop at the gas station terminal (Terminal de Autobuses La Huasteca - Ixmiquilpan) but stop at Central De Autobuses, which is a 26-minute walk away from the hotel. If you take a bus from Mexico City to Ixmiquilpan, make sure you ask the driver if he can stop at Terminal de Autobuses La Huasteca - Ixmiquilpan, which is next to the gas station. When I left Ixmiquilpan in the morning and returned to Mexico City, I just walked to "Terminal de Autobuses La Huasteca" and bought bus ticket at the counter. There was no Uber or taxi when I arrived (at around 23:XX). Two passengers and I ended up paying a guy to drive us to the hotel, which was quite scary. The room was noisy until late at night as expected (according to the review) because it was located next to the highway.

Price, location, it was quiet, it had a big fan.

Comfortable bed, nice sitting area outside the room near the playground, room was clean and spacious, was about a 15 min walk to the zocalo.

Clean room with private bathroom just as mentioned on booking.com. they have indeed a private, secure parking. Easy to find. Next to the main road so you can go pass the city not to waste time.
