Overview
The 5-star Olympic Palace Hotel enjoys a prime location in Ixia, only metres from the beach, while at a distance of about 5 km from the city of Rhodes and 10 km from Rhodes International Airport. The on-site Vithos spa centre includes a sauna, an indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, treatment and massage rooms. Rooms have sea or mountain views. Each room includes air conditioning, CD/DVD player, coffee/tea facilities, mini fridge and LCD TV with satellite channels. Free toiletries and pillow menu are available, while daily maid service is also provided. Suites also feature turn-down service, safe box and furnished balconies with sun loungers. The property also offers 3 fine dining venues with extra charge, Casa Bonita Mexican a la carte, La Tonda Pizza & Pasta and Aquamarine a la carte restaurant serving International/Mediterranean cuisine. The property offers a private beach area and 3 outdoor pools with fresh water, one of them with a children's section (2 of the outdoor pools are heated during April to mid of May & in October, subject to weather conditions). Complimentary sunbeds and parasols are available at the pool and at the private beach area. Sports facilities include a floodlit tennis court, volleyball, table tennis, mini golf court and a modern fitness center. A themed escape room as well as a state of the art video games room with latest video consoles and VR experience are also available at a charge for guests' entertainment

The room was spacious enough, the pools heated and the facilities well maintained it seemed. Despite some other reviews, the staff was friendly and helpful in our case. A fridge and kettle was provided in the room.

Lovely place with great food and facilities. Staff were excellent too. Our suite was fabulous, spotlessly clean. We loved heading up to the rooftop bar to enjoy a drink while watching the sunset.

The staff are wonderful. So friendly and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and the facilities are superb. There’s lots to see. Beautiful views from everywhere in the hotel. Close to the airport and old town. The old town is beautiful. We could always get sunbeds and there was 4 of us. We always got some together although we came first week of September so just out of the summer holidays for many

Very disappointing stay – staff shouted, mocked guests, and even slammed hands on the table. Room was not ready on time. A scorpion was found at the entrance – staff’s response was ‘it’s an open space.’ This is unsafe, unprofessional, and completely unworthy of a 5-star hotel. The property is beautiful, but staff behavior ruined the experience
