Comfortable room, equipped with everything you need. We booked half board and had a very rich breakfast and dinner with many choices. Delicious fish and meat dishes. The hosts are very kind and attentive.

The entirety of my stay was enjoyable. The host was exceptionally hospitable and gracious, treating us as though we were their exclusive guests. The view of the sea was magnificent, and the breakfast was of high quality. This accommodation ranks among the finest we have encountered in Croatia.

Great location, quiet, close to the beach. Beaches are beautifull, perfect entrance to the sea. Excellent, very friendly host and amazing food.For dinner we had every day a choice between meat or different type of fish. It is a place worth returning to.

Very friendly, approachable and comunicating hosts, large and great quality breakfast and dinner, perfect access from parking, beautiful view from balcony, quiet, simple but clean and "all you really need" equipment, just perfect resort - "everything but not too much"...all food and attractions without enoying downsides of tourism - crowds and offers to everything everywhere - nothing like this, very appreciated. Very nice and smiling personel (restaurant, ice cream, bakery, shop,...) at the beach.

Not much except the breakfast, which was very nice (eggs and cold cuts, vegetables and gluten free bread; juice).

Family-run business handled by two friendly Croats. We got better room than we booked with a sea view for the same price. Really nice place with specious rooms and amazing views. Great food , generous amounts. Fresh fishes prepared by the owner. Huge variety in the menue when it comes to dinners. Free parking space next to the gesthouse. 5min walk downhill to the beach. All what you need to spend great holidays if you like peace and quiet.

Borovik Guest House is directly on the Adriatic highway next to the bus stop with plenty of free parking place for guests, so you get there without much searching. I just suggest putting GPS coordinates into navigation instead of address as the latter will lead you down to the town Porat. There is a straight path from the guest house down to the beach. It is quite steep, so downwards it takes like 10 minutes, but upwards depending on your condition. You can walk down to the beach straight in the swimming suit as it passes just among few other guest houses and leads straight to the beach. The rooms are quite big with private toilet and bathroom equipped with air conditioning, which is really a big plus when it comes to high temperatures approaching to 40 degree Celsius. Accomodation and bathroom equipment is a bit older, but all clean, nice and everything needed is there. And also they will not bother you every day with laying down your bed and putting your pyjamas according to their norm :) as in hotels. If you need a clean towel, you say for it and if you need a new toilet paper, you take it from corridor yourself. So, you can really enjoy your stay on your own. For me, a big advantage is that at Borovic Guest House they provide also breakfast and dinner big enough that you needn't care for food on your own and have further costs. Both of them are available at anytime between 8am and 8pm. The owner is a professional cook, so they can prepare you more or less the meal you wish. Breakfast is a cold dish with salad and dinner is cooked. If you leave earlier morning e.g. for a trip to Biokovo (see https://pp-biokovo.hr/en/home), they can prepare you a food package a day before to take with you. And of course the greatest impression stays from people, so we had many pleasant and interesting discussions with the owners. I really liked their approach and will definitely like to return.
