“Winter wonderland”

This is an amazing place, a true winter wonderland just outside the city. The service and staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and the food was excellent. The best part is that you can book all the activities directly with them for a complete Lapland experience.

“I’ve never stayed anywhere as amazing as this resort!”

This was an absolute gem. It’s outside of town but you really don’t need to leave here if you don’t have a car because there are so many activities. It’s half board so dinner is provided each night and the food is amazing. I’ve never stayed anywhere like this before - everything was amazing. The staff were so friendly and there was a particularly lovely lady who served me at dinner- I didn’t get her name but she had long dark hair and glasses. This was a solo trip for me to avoid staying home on the anniversary of my husbands death - I can’t even start to explain how special it was. I could not have found a more beautiful place to stay. The hotel aurora app is free so every time the aurora is visible in the sky, an alert goes off on your phone. The aurora was very active when I stayed and lying in bed watching it was just something else. The cabin was cosy and the decor was so nice. Outside there was very little light pollution and it was so peaceful. My highlight was definitely watching the reindeer who live on the grounds. There is also free to borrow snowshoes and sleds in the shed behind reception. To Aurora Village management and staff: Thank you so much - whatever mixture of magic you do to make this such a welcoming and friendly place to stay, keep doing it!

The location is just breathtaking, it's a perfect place to relax and reconnect. The room was clean and big enough, the choice of activities was various.

The cabin on the edge of the forest was the most amazing experience. The glass “igloo” viewing of the night sky was lovely even though there were no auroras sadly. All the staff went above and beyond with service and the chefs offer vegan options on the set dinner. Best vegan meal in Finland so far!

Our entire experience at this hotel was absolutely amazing!!! The room was beautiful ✨ The view from our room was incredible, and we were lucky enough to see the beautiful Northern Lights many times throughout the night. We had a beautiful stay here, it’s utterly beautiful, lovely cabin and the staff were great! Included dinner and breakfast were delicious!

breakfast was simple, dinner was ok. staff was great. love the complimentary coffee machine in the room. free slope slides. other then that all other facilities are chargeable. Aurora is free .

We stay here for two nights hope to see the Aurora and we did it. It is an unforgettable experience to stay in the cabin and watch Aurora from the room. Everything is magical!

The location is wonderful, we saw Aurora 5/5 nights we were there and the room view is priceless. There's plenty of activities, the restaurant is amazing and I absolutely fell in love with the region and Aurora Village.

“Fantastic experience seeing the Northern Lights from the comfort of your bed”

Being away from town and in nature. The cabins were comfortable but the big plus for us was seeing the Northern lights from the comfort of our bed! We were lucky and saw the lights all three nights we stayed. The alarm went off on our phone app and we got some great pics. Got dressed and went outside once. Pictures were practically the same as staying in bed 🙂 Staff very friendly. Special shout out to Nina - she was super friendly and gave us some good tips.
