We stayed in the family suite and it truly exceeded our expectations. Having two separate bedrooms and a spacious living room was perfect—especially once the kids went to bed, as it gave us a comfortable place to relax. A big bonus is that this suite takes up the entire floor, which made it feel very private. The space is well designed with plenty of beds, making it ideal for larger families or groups—up to six people can stay comfortably. Initially, we thought having the kitchen located on the first floor and shared with other guests might be a small inconvenience, but it turned out to be a great feature. It is large, quite well equipped (just add cavatappi please :), was always accessible, and it gave us the chance to socialize with other guests. Outside of the apartment, itri is absolutely lovely. The Gaeta beaches are just at the bottom of the hill—very close by car and with stunning views along the way. The town itself is charming, with some places to eat and enjoy evening walks. We also recommend making the climb up to the castle at the top of the hill—it’s full of history at every step and the views from the top are unforgettable!

This is a great place to stay if you are walking the Via Francigena del Sud. The bedroom was large, with a great bathroom attached. Do not be put off by the shared kitchen and lounge! The kitchen is big, well-equipped, with a huge stove top. The lounge is spacious with a large TV, but the rooms are very private and quiet. We had a good night's sleep.

“Comfortable stay”
On our walking path for the Via Francigena Sud. Self check in with minimal communication and lack of friendliness unlike other self check-ins we've experienced. Spacious, nicely furnished and comfortable rooms. Very nice bathroom. All very new looking and uncluttered (somewhat bare). Excellent quality linen and towels. Large shared downstairs kitchen although we were uncertain what was or wasn't available for use as no information provided. We self-served breakfast with the food we found in the kitchen. Useful for walkers who want to make an early start.
