Located just 10mins from the airport in a quiet area this very modern accommodation was 1st class. Auto check, extremely private with great complementary food, coffee and drinks facilities available. Room was very large for Japanese standards. We had room with sauna which was a nice touch. Highly recommend this place if you plan to fly out of Fukuoka next day.

“relaxing retreat from a busy world close to a science hub and nature”
The hotel is tucked in the outskirts of Itoshima a suburb of Fukuoka that is about 2 km from the university (reason to stay there). Buses run regularly to the metro stops (use online map) and taxi is about 15 euro. However, it is a very high spec hotel with a small public bath that is great for recovering from running up and down the hills around the area and a large public bath 200 m away, which has extensive facilities, gym and 25 m swimming pool (not deep so you can also walk). The rooms are great - I had one with a small kitchen unit that I barely used as the buffet dinner had everything for everyone (European and Japanese food). Staff are a very friendly and helpful even by Japanese standards of hospitality. I stayed for 10 days (well based myself there with a few days elsewhere) and it felt like home, with one heck of a mountain view to wake up to. I am definitely staying there the next time i visit which is hopefully soon.

“A lovely, well-appointed gem of a hotel”
What an outstanding hotel! Smart, comfortable, great facilities and lovely, caring, helpful staff. A great base for me in Itoshima, as I needed to be close to Kyushu Uni's Ito Campus. But it's also accessible for Fukuoka,generally. I particularly used the 2A bus from outside the hotel to get to the campus, then on to Kyudai-Gakkentoshi station (a journey of about 25 mins from the hotel). This station links to the airport rail line and key areas of interest in Fukuoka. Renting an electric-assist bike from the hotel to explore the Itoshima coastline was a real highlight. I felt so at ease and at home at the hotel - loved it. Many thanks to the front-of-house staff and housekeeping for making it such a special stay. Highly recommended.

“Comfort, well decorated and spacious room”
The design is comfortable and luxury feel. Room provided all necessities including bath robe and nite grown. Staffs were all polite and welcoming.

The staff are hardworking and helpful. Last year, I had a problem communicating with them as they did not have English speaking staff present at all times. I gave them feedback on this. This year, it was not a problem anymore. Grateful for this improvement!

“Excellent facilities and Very Gracious Staff!”
It was fabulous. Right in the centre of Itoshima and in this case closest proximity to Kyushu University Ito campus. Lots of Parking and a really super nice huge and multi-pool Onsen as part of the offer that made my afternoon very relaxing thats across the road! Buffet breakfast was really good too! (As good as a mainstream hotel like Nikko or Okura) Has coin laundry which is super handy as well as a Level 2 internal Public Bath available as part of the offer. Only disappointment was the dinner buffet closes at 8:30pm sharp!! So don’t be late! Do note that the location is centred amongst farming land and is not close to anything except the Settle Onsen and 7-11 across the street! To that point it’s quite a ways from the JR/Rail line so if you don’t have a car, you’ll need taxis.

This is probably the most modern and chic hotel in Itoshima. The feel is very homely with a burning fireplace . The breakfast is well catered to all tastes.

“Great semi rural location.”
Loved that I could open the window in the morning for some fresh air before it got too hot. Very clean & quiet hotel with a 24/7 convenience shop directly across the road. Quite a distance from central Maebaru but I had a hire car & there was plenty of parking at the hotel.
