Overview
Boasting its indoor/outdoor public hot spring baths, Ito Kowakien is located in the centre of Ito hot spring area, and is just a 10-minute walk from JR Minami Ito Train Station. Guests can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool during the summer season and use the free on-site parking. A free shuttle is available each day between 14:00 and 18:00 from JR Ito Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away. The air-conditioned rooms feature mountain views, a flat-screen TV and Japanese Yukata robes. A fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are provided in all room, while the en suite bathroom comes with a private hot spring bath. Guests can choose to stay in rooms with Japanese futon bedding on tatami (woven-straw) floors or in rooms with Western-style beds. You can sing you favourite songs at the karaoke room or shop for local souvenirs at the gift shop. At Ukifune restaurant, traditional multi-course meals can be enjoyed for dinner and a buffet for breakfast. Kowakien Ito is a 25-minute drive from Jyogasaki Beach and a 15-minute drive from Renkei-ji Temple.

“Perfect value for your money”
The onsen is just massive, there are multiple baths each with different temperatures, so even it you cant handle much heat there is one you can definitely handle.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, and stayed here for 2 nights. Room was very spacious and staff were friendly and helpful. They offer free parking on site. Walking distance to a 24 hr supermarket and Daiso.

The dinner and breakfast that was paid was delicious and well presented. Further loved the fact they swap the male and female onsen at B1 so to experience both was great and relaxing.

What a wonderful hotel. It was amazing to stay in such a traditional Japanese place, a really special experience! Plus: the onsen were very nice and relaxing. The staff was also extremely friendly and went out of their way to make you feel at home.

Location was perfect for a short getaway,no busy. The bus stops right outside the hotel, so convenient. We stayed in a japanese style room with tatami mats and it's comfortable and clean. Supermarket located just behind the hotel. The star attraction were the onsen and also the japanese style breakfast. It was so scrumptious and grand. We would definitely stay here again.
