“Definitely worth it if you on a car”

Free parking. Got free room upgrade, the view at the bay was AMAZING. The room was big and spacious with giant balcony. Two private onsen open-bath rooms, two gender split public rooms. One of the private rooms had the same AMAZING bay view. Lots of free drinks at the hotel, free alcohol stand.

The view was incredible and the room was a comfortable place to spend a few nights. We enjoyed exploring the area, and there were some great restaurants nearby

Private and shared hot bath. No need to book the private hot bath. The bed was comfortable and big and spacious rooms. Nice sea views. Very friendly and helpful staff. They even came to pick us up and drop us off when we had luggage and couldn't find our way to the hotel. The food was also great and we loved that we got breakfast served in our rooms. They also had free drinks available any time during our stay.

“Spectacular ocean view”

Very friendly staff, very helpful with translation app. The room had a beautiful balcony with view over the ocean. The room was very clean. Behind the house, there is path you go down to the beach in 2 Minutes.

The view, wow, panoramic views of the sea, unbelievable...!! The room was big, bright, and comfy. I can't fault it at all... The facilities amazing, staff great. Free drinks included, was a dream.

We had an absolutely wonderful two-night stay at this hotel. Though it wasn’t fully booked, it had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated the thoughtful upgrade and all the lovely details that enhanced our experience—from the various onsen options to the complimentary bar and excellent coffee. Our room was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was exquisite—I slept better than I have in a long time! So far, this has been the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Japan, even compared to the big chains. If you’re visiting the region, this place is absolutely worth it!

My stay at Hotel Himalaya Sea was nothing short of incredible, as it offered a perfect blend of relaxation and luxury. The staff were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, while the Onsen included in the stay added an extra layer of tranquility. The breakfast was a delightful treat, as it was not only excellent but also conveniently served in the comfort of our room. To top it all off, the spacious room boasted a prime location beside the ocean, providing a breathtaking view and soothing sounds of the waves. Overall, Hotel Himalaya Sea proved to be a truly relaxing and unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend.

“Great location for relaxing getaway.”

We stayed 2 nights and wish it could have been longer. This is a really well run little hotel with an amazing ocean view. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We chose the half board option and were not disappointed. The dinners were a delicious array of fresh local seafood. The pool and onsen are great bonuses. There is a path which leads to the beach and takes just 5 minutes. Take the train from Atami to Usami and then it’s a short taxi ride to the hotel.

We went in the latter half of May and the person at the reception was incredibly kind and gave us a free upgrade! The room was absolutely gorgeous with an amazing view of the ocean. Huge room with huge bath, huge bed. Great breakfast. Free drinks. Private bath you can do too.
